thanks, Deborah! I was hoping I hadn't screwed something up!

right. And that's the same link I used when I posted here. I have to say that I did that on purpose: the first time I made a poll, I tried to get it to connect through the polls link & totally messed it up. I was so embarrassed! The other moderators had to rescue me. Since then, I've just depended on linking to it.
Thanks for the post -- maybe it will help someone else to get to the poll. I very very much appreciate it!

Thanks.
Thanks.

Actually, Mary - I screwed up. The poll doesn't close until midnight. I set it for today but forgot it would have ended at midnight. So I set it for the 14th at midnight.

Actually, Mary, you may still vote all day tomorrow. I am so sorry. Just made an announcement under Moderator Announcements.

There are three other wonderful moderators behind the scenes who taught me everything. And re the large group: everyone in this group is wonderful. I say, the more the merrier!

LOL Bill -- I keep saying that to my husband.

And how does he reply, Nancy? ;)
Well, once he told a friend that I have so many books that the Library of Congress calls me if they're missing an edition.

Hahaha Nancy, that's the best laugh that I've had in quite a while!

As always, please remember:
The poll for the November/December Group Read is now open! Voting will run through the 13th, winners will be announced on the 14th and new discussion threads will be opened on the 15th.
Just a couple of things to remember before you go and vote:
1) Do not cheat or manipulate results. It is not acceptable to create fake accounts to nominate books or vote in polls nor it is not acceptable to invite people to the site for the sole purpose of nominating a book or voting for a book in a poll. It is also not acceptable to ask for votes or influence the poll in any way. If the moderators feel that a group read poll has been manipulated, the book in question will be disqualified. If the moderators feel that the user(s) are fake accounts, these will be reported to Goodreads for further review.
And, please remember: if your nomination wins, you will become the moderator for that book's discussion.
Now, go vote and have fun!
