Paranormal/Supernatural series where the characters do investigations

I've been in a huge paranormal/supernatural kick lately and I've been on the hunt for them with no luck in actually finding what I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be amazing, thank you.

Preferred:
* More than two main characters (think Scooby Doo)
* They start off unbelieving/semi-unbelieving
* Experienced character(s) step in to teach them

The haunted series by Alexie Aaron is awesome. It is up to twentysome books her the series and I still enjoy them! The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow is the first book in the series.

You might want to look at these two series. I enjoyed both. Also, can you clarify, are you wanting books where paranormal creatures are the investigators of supernatural stuff or just regular/psychic humans that investigate paranormal crimes? These books would be an example of the first type so they won't meet your idea of starting out as skeptics. But I do know of some books that would match the second option, I'm just not sure which you're looking for.
