Jane | 1438 comments I'm a bit late this time. There is only about 1 hour to start but I'm now ready.

description

My twin sister was meant to take part with me but she unfortunately had to cancel yesterday.
That is not going to stop me as I was not able to take part in April. That was the first time since October 2011 I didn't take part.

Jane | 1438 comments I've been in quite a reading slump this year so I've decided to read easy books for this RaT.

They are also going to be re-reads so I can continue the series after Dewey's.

My first book I actually started a few days ago. I've read 54% and will finish that first.

A Drop in the Potion (Spellbound #8) by Annabel Chase A Drop in the Potion by Annabel Chase

Afterwards I'll re-read Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, the first two books. I'm on the wait list at the library for the third book.
The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) by Rick Riordan The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan
Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #2) by Rick Riordan Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor Rick Riordan

If there is still time I'll re-read the first book in The Trials of Apollo
The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1) by Rick Riordan The Hidden Oracle Rick Riordan

I might also read
Pulp Driver A high octane short story of mistaken identity (The Wheelman Shorts #1) by Christoffer Petersen Pulp Driver: A high octane short story of mistaken identity by Christoffer Petersen

Jane | 1438 comments Opening Survey!

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
I'm reading from Denmark in a very small village. According to Wiki there are 279 people in my village.

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I don't actually have a new book in my reading stack so I just know I'm going to enjoy all the Rick Riordan books I have chosen to read

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I think my ice cream

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I'm a housewife who loves to go for walks, going canoing and in the last year also geocaching.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I've taken part since October 2011 (apart from April 2019) so I've been part of this for quite a while.
I'm a reader and doesn't visit a lot of other readers. I'll make sure I get at least 6 hours of sleep. But of course my part of the world is blessed with an extra hour this time.

I do enjoy YA fantasy, 40 years ago I couldn't find books like that. Now they are available in the library both in Danish and English.

This was the English edition in Hardcover borrowed from the library.

Jane | 1438 comments 12.20pm so just 1 hour and 40 minutes left.

I’ve finished

Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #2) by Rick Riordan Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor Rick Riordan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waiting for the 3rd book from the library as e-book

Not enough time to read The Hidden Oracle so I think I’ll keep hold of that and hope to get the next two in the series soon, also from the library. But as print books

message 12: by Jane (new)

Jane | 1438 comments I guess time is up, I didn’t read as much as I hoped but I’ve been distracted a bit inbetween.

2 and a half book read a total of just over 1000 pages.
