You land on a site that a- asks you to register (and likely asks for a credit card) and/or b-Gets you to download a zipped file, which can contain viruses and malware (while .epub file can't since they're essentially text files with some mark up).
So when you see such links, I suggest reporting them.
May and Alex, thank you for your responses. I thought as much, but had to ask. The book will be out shortly; I can wait.
