"Interference" by Sue Burke (BR)

Hey folks! This will be the thread for discussing Sue Burke's 2nd book in the Semiosis duology, Interference.

Please use spoiler tags, chapter numbers and book names where applicable to keep discussion moving and spoiler free.

That said, I just received notification that delivery of my hardcover is delayed by a month to 3 months in the UK! Apparently, the Kindle version is already available in many countries, including the UK. I think I will cancel the order and purchase it from a third party. I'm really annoyed. I really wanted to have the hardcover because I have Semiosis in hardcover.

Please raise your hand if you plan on joining in the conversation and have a copy already, or plan to purchase the eBook. If you are also an Amazon victim, please let us know. But if I'm the only one in a quandary, then we can go ahead and start the BR on November 8th as planned.

I am 75% in and I have to say (view spoiler)[I am feeling underwhelmed. The conflicts are not as exciting as the first book. And the Stevland POV was wayyy too long. I prefer shorter POVs. (hide spoiler)]

Worth buying yes, but not at the current price.

I finally got my copy today! It’s going to be a while before I gute around to reading it though!

I started this today, finally, and I'm four chapters in and I came here to complain about (view spoiler)[ the lack of Stevland's POV, but then I checked the chapter list of my audio to see which chapter I'm in, and saw that the second half of the book is from Stevland! <3 (hide spoiler)]

That could be a spoiler for the whole book, I often feel that these things are. TOCs with character names that is.

Anyway, I don't need to post my comment anymore, but I'm posting this anyway. Yeah. Hi!

General impression so far is the same as for the first book: More plants, less humans, please!
