@Hailee thanks! The way we're gonna do it is on the first of the month one of us will just pick a book that were in the mood for (that we both own) and on the fifth we start reading it. Anyone is welcome to join the buddy read ofc.

I came up with the idea because I'm such a mood reader and planning ahead really doesn't work for me. I'll schedule a book and then in three months time when the BR is about to start I'm not in the mood for it anymore. Hopefully this system will help me not abandon too many BRs.

You should consider reading Dating You / Hating You by Christina Lauren. It seems to have a similar premise.

I've read several Christina Lauren books and really enjoyed them even though like you Charlie I've fallen out of love with the genre as a whole. Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating is my favourite of theirs so far.
