Hey! I just finished reading City of Glass (and loved it) and I really need an advice. A lot of people say that the series should have ended with city of glass and that the 2 other books are not worth reading. Is that true? Should I continue the series or should I stop there?

You should definitely keep going. The fourth and fifth are good but they may not seem as great as the third book, but you'll love the sixth and final book, City of Heavenly Fire!
I had the same dilemma once, so instead of continuing with the series, I picked up the Infernal Devices and started reading them. I now just finished the second book (Clockwork Prince) and frickin loved it. I will definitely continue with the rest of the 'Immortal Instruments' series once I am done with the last book of TID. Seems like a wise choice to me.

I also think you should continue especially since the final book has come out. I admit at first I was a bit sceptical about where the plot was going after City of Glass but having read City of Heavenly Fire I can say it is the best book in the series. I would also suggest that you read The Infernal Devices trilogy as well as it adds to the experience. It's a great trilogy and youshould read it even if you decide not to continue with The Mortal Instruments series.

Keep reading it. It just gets better, as it goes. Besides I don't even know how you could of ended it with City of Glass.. seeing as so much happens and stuff in it. So no. Keep going.

Honestly, City of Heavenly Fire (Book 6) is my fave. You should try the Infernal Devices! It's the prequel, and it's just as good - if not better :)
The series should have ended after book 3. She sort of pulled it together in book 6, but 4 and 5 were so incredibly abysmal that there was just no bouncing all the way back. I actually will just advise people not to start the whole series.Infernal Devices, on the other hand, was fantastic and I really adored it. I'm not impressed that she's planning on starting yet another one though. I feel like she's just beating a dead horse now.
In my opinion I think you should keep reading. It gets better, especially in the last book (book 6). I don't have a favorite out of the series, but the suspense builds with each book. The choice is up to you, but I would continue.
Theres No question, keep reading, although I to found the 4th and 5th books of the series slightly dry, i kept going and once I got to City of Heavenly fire every thing came together, it's such an amazing series it would be a shame if you didn't finish it....
that was the question I asked myself once after I finished city of glass too, but then I miss Simon and cant get enough of him lol so now I bought city of fallen angels and will start reading it soon.
City of Heavenly Fire is everything! Keep reading the story is so much better! Then read the Infernal Devices! Stuff in the Mortal Instruments series will make sense then. KEEP READING!

I like book 5 the best. Even though the 6th one really did kick butt to. But once you're all done with them you should check out the Infernal Devices too. That's really good to. And also Tessa is really awesome! <3 Tessa!
After City of Heavenly Fire this was my fav book, I understand its not everybody's cup of tea but trust me when you finish that last book in the series you will be happy that you continued on..hope I helped you:)

I think you should pick up the fourth one and try it. I personally didn't like book 4 or 5 (I haven't read 6), but that's just me. You may like the rest.
you should read the following ones because they are very good although my favourite is the third at the moment, I think that the sixth book will be the best (I haven't read it yet). I recommend you to follow the saga. And if you like it so much you must read the infernal devices you will love it
YES!!! It's a great series. It gets slow sometimes but I couldn't put it down! (For me that's every book though.)
Yeah, I started city of fallen angels yesterday and am already at page 100! You guys were right..this series is worth continuing on!;)
