Please correct the number of pages

This book is on my library, I am currently reading it, and I can assure you that it has 805 pages. 808, counting the last 3 blank ones. But the information here is 496. So what happened to 300 pages? At first I tought I got the wrong edition here. So I scanned the book, typed mannually the ISBN. But it is this book.

This is really strange. Or it might not be.
The information on Bookdepository is as follows:

So I measured the book. My book, the one with more than 800 pages has those exact measurements. It is this book, the ISBN is correct. And it is this paperback edition. What has to be wrong is this information, of 496 pages for this paperback edition. Maybe that is the number of pages for a big(ger) format hardback edition. But not this one. The number of pages on Book Depository is wrong. And maybe someone got the information online, maybe at Book Depository before editing it here, or it got imported in an automated fashion.

But it is wrong. My thick, not very practical 800 plus paperback edition is living proof.

Can someone please correct the number of pages?

It has either 805, 805 being the last printed page. Or 808, that being the last page before the back cover. One of those numbers, 805 or 808 is right. I have no idea what is the correct number, what rule is aplyed, usually. But I know my book does not have 496 pages. I am currentely on page "759 out of 496". Can someone please correct that?
