added a book, but now i can't modify

I added this book to goodreads as publisher and contributing author

Now, when i got back to make edits to the description, I appear to be locked out.

I fixed Matthews' name, if that's what you were trying to do.

Also corrected other authors to proper format. Please note that initials have periods after them.

Also, no need to put a 1 in the edition field, it's just confusing.

There is only about a day's worth of time before your editing window ends. If you are not the primary author it will not let you edit.

We would be happy to make the edits for you. What should be done?

Yikes.. I wasn't aware of that. for my own books, I include things like when its on a promo price, or sale date (I was going to add that this was now available on presale) but if I can't edit ongoing, i'll just leave it be. thanks though!

Am I able to do an author giveaway if I did not load up myself as the primary author? this question may be outside of the scope of this thread, i realize.. i've tried to start a giveaway and it won't let me

Sales information of any sort is not permitted in the descriptions. We delete them when we come across them.

For a giveaway, you will want to contact Goodreads Staff. They are the only ones who can help with that. Let them know you are not the primary author, and provide them with a link to the book.
