though *blinks innocently*"Oh, that's a good point! I didn't even think of that. Now I don't know what to do lol.
At that point it becomes a storming though the series. Cliffhanger endings, turmoil, drama, and oh so good! So if you have a busy schedule you might be better of going with Harry lol.. I had no self-control, couldn't even read anything else other than EIT once I read that one. I tried even and everything else just paled in comparison.

I just finished Kate's book 3 like yesterday and had downloaded book 4 - because I knew I was going to have to read it either way! Magic Strikes was AWESOME so glad to know it's not a fluke. ;)
How's your FWYS series - haven't read any of those..?
It's good K! I really like it, has just the right blend of action, snark, and romance, with a little quirk thrown in :)Kate's attack poodle lol! Each book tops the last one somehow. The latest one was all sorts of awesome!
I saw that :)It's cute! (If you're a colts fan lol) did you find that pic online? I couldn't find one with the star so I just made it lol.
The NFC playoff picture is crazy!!!! Everyone is just about within a game of each other, even wildcard spots. They're saying it'll be record breaking some of these teams win counts and not making it into the playoffs. I'll be heartbroken if the Boys don't make it after the phenomenal year we've had.
I did find it online - I decided I needed something Christmassy and then I could resist!Honestly I haven't been able to follow Colts as closely as I usually do. Normally we do not miss a game.. But this season has been so crazy we haven't been able to see much. Boo!!!!!
I miss that!!! We are usually like that here too - this year has just been a one off!! I'm going to be watching tomorrow at 1 though. We play the Texans.

Review :
My favorite Kate Daniels book so far! Loved seeing Kate as a more fully formed character - seeing the different sides of her outside of her bad ass self. Enjoy learning more about Kate and her family tree, as well as seeing her relationship with Curran evolve and grow with their ability to be honest with each other.
I might not have kept with the Kate Daniels series after the first couple of books if it weren't for my fabulous Goodread friends. I am so glad that I listened and kept going because books 3 & 4 have been nothing short of wonderful! The world building, the character development and the pace of the story have all been spot on.
If we roll a "5" this week, guess what I'll be reading?!!! :)

Glad you're enjoying your book too JoAnne!

Colts are ahead of Texans by a couple touchdowns at the half. Our QB (Luck) had some completion issues with his passes at first but seems to have worked through it. Hopefully the winning score continues...
I see Cowboys play tonight - we'll probably have it on! Good luck!

The Mistletoe Melody (Brookhollow #4) by Jennifer SnowRead 12/14/14
Rating 4 stars
Review - So nice to be back in Brookhollow with Melody, her twins and all the other family members and friends we've met throughout the first three books in the series. So glad there will be books five and six sometime next year!
Lots of love and romance along with sadness, tears, angst, anger, happiness, disbelief and hope. A nice happily ever after in the offing that was unexpected but definitely welcomed.

Thanks Kristin - we are. Funny thing is if we don't ask he doesn't tell us. He doesn't think it's a big deal!
Kristin ~ Experiment in Terror Junkie wrote: "Oh gosh - good thing you ask!!!! HaHa!"We've learned over the years plus to let him know his achievements are a big deal and that not everyone is as driven as him or as successful - whether it was getting accepted to a private HS, applying to colleges and getting through in 4 years with dual majors and a minor, etc. etc.
Kristin ~ Experiment in Terror Junkie wrote: "Absolutely! It's hard to find 'kids' that motivated in this day & age."You're so right. We try to focus on the positives. :)
Congrats JoAnne! Congrats K on your division clench :)Tonight is a huge game for us *fingers crossed*

How's everyone's week going? Can't believe Christmas Eve is only a week away. That's when I get my houseful. Still have to put up the tree and do some decorating, buy gifts and do the rest of my grocery shopping. Tonight we celebrate Hanukkah.Kristin let me know if all reviews are in by Friday if you want me to roll or if you want to do the honors since this is when we roll for two weeks and don't have to have reviews for both weeks in until Friday, January 2.
It's been crazy these last few days around here. I'll have a total of 23 this year. My sister and I cook the entire meal too. So this week I'm trying to get my shopping done and I've got to finish getting the leaves raked and burned. We live in the woods practically, the leaves are a week long thing. This is round 3 and the final round (they're all down now).

So many years we raked them to the curb - our town still picks them up - and they were still there in the spring when the snow and ice thawed.
We'll have 12 or 15 - smallest group ever - since I know 5 that can't make it and my brother is having hip replacement surgery tomorrow - and he and his family might not make it this year.
Good luck with all the cooking and the leaves.

LOL! I've not done much shopping at all and since we had all of our family in for Thanksgiving this year, Christmas will at least be a smaller group. About 15 with us for about a week...
JoAnne - Feel free to roll this week! If you fall asleep, I'll roll in the morning when I get up with the kiddos around 6-6:30. I forgot this was the other double-roll week. :) I think we just have 2 reviews to come in. Woo-Hoo!
Kristin ~ Experiment in Terror Junkie wrote: "JoAnne wrote: "How's everyone's week going? Can't believe Christmas Eve is only a week away. That's when I get my houseful. Still have to put up the tree and do some decorating, buy gifts and do..."Okay, I'll plan on rolling.
Gift cards are looking better and better! We even have our Secret Santa gift exchange at work on Friday and I only have 1/2 the gift so far. Hope to have the rest tomorrow night but that still leaves 11 or 12 other gifts to buy. Good thing we don't exchange with adults in the family anymore - just buy for kids/nieces, nephews.
I think gift cards are calling my name too! I've bought for the little nephews and for my Texas family.. My kids are going to be easy this year (for once!) and my husband and I apparently got kitchen appliances for Christmas.. LOL!Mostly I need to figure out my parents, jeff's parents, some friends and extended family gifts.. I think it's starting to hit me...

This was my least favorite in the series. It got a tad cheesy at times. For a regular old human Joe is the best though. Nicki & Joe are put to the test in this one and Joe really comes through. Sammy aka the devil is still after Nicki and he doesn't pull out the stops in this book. It ends almost like a final book, everything comes together pretty well. From my understanding the next book is the last so I'm not sure where Ms. Garvey can go from here.

I don't think I've ever seen you slack either - it's only Wednesday besides!
I finished last night but was too tired to get my review up...still feels like slacking lol. I'm usually done a lot sooner than that. I'll be relying on audios in the next week more so than my kindle. Otherwise nothing will get done!
Jenne wrote: "I finished last night but was too tired to get my review up...still feels like slacking lol. I'm usually done a lot sooner than that. That's why I never read an audio if I've already started the series in ebook. Certain times of the year I only listen to 2-4 a month and then months where yard work is more than usual or holiday times that number is doubled if not more.

Maybe I'll have to give some audios a try and see what happens. But it won't be for awhile since my TBR pile has to go down somewhat at this point.
