(view spoiler)[ I really love Talia’s personality- She’s extremely bubbly, clumsy, and colorful! I thought the way she decorated Bryn’s room and the Team Talia shirt with the unicorn logo on it were hilarious and his reaction to them and her wanting to be BFF’s with him kind of broke her spirit. She realizes fast that dragons aren’t as upbeat and optimistic as unicorns, in fact they’re complete opposites. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the word “asshat” so much in my life before 😂 Also, how in the world is a unicorn shifter afraid of a clown?! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-15
(view spoiler)[ Bryn finally asks Talia what she wants from their relationship- just a partnership, friendship, or more. Talia’s inner dialogue for this was so conflicted, hilarious, and realistic. It’s a big decision and even though I want there to be more than a partnership between them, I don’t want them to have to work together until the end of their days while hating each other from a romantic relationship gone wrong. I’m also curious why her magic isn’t working on the demon children and if it has anything to do why Bryn. Did she seriously just try to stab him with her unicorn horn and then have sex afterwards?! And her skin glows like a rainbow right before she cums...?! Plus, this was like the fastest sex scene ever written. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 16-23
(view spoiler)[ I liked the body positivity message that was thrown into this section of the book and the description of her unicorn form. I think something is off with Maddie, besides being a descendant from The Lady of the Lake since she’s always popping in/ lurking. I think the twist of Arthurian legend is a really cool and unique twist too. The Excalibur changing form with a stars and rainbow design was very quirky and different. I’m curious how the demon was able to find Talia using her mother’s corpse and why there is a gateway to Hell under her house. The revelation that they’re soul mates was heartbreaking since she has to let him go/ put distance between them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 24-Epilogue
(view spoiler)[ I think that Talia being able to communicate with animals is really awesome and gives her a Disney Princess vibe. It was hilarious that she made Bryn soak in tomato paste when she could have gotten rid of the skunk smell with her magic. I figured that the kids weren’t demons, but I didn’t suspect that they were changelings. I thought it was interesting to get a glimpse into the fae world and more of Talia’s past and family. I liked that there was LGBT representation even if it was a small part. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 15 (view spoiler)[Yikes that was an awkward situation after their first time. I don’t get why talia is so resistant to the idea of being Bryns Annam Carra. It seems like they both want it. And I doubt the mark would’ve worked if it wasn’t mutual between them. That protection glyph might be a problem tho. I think the demon children have them. (hide spoiler)]
