After I read the series twice, I realized how Ever could've avoided most of the problems if she wasn't so dumb. Like the second book, I can understand why Ever reacted the way she did. But by the third book, she went downhill from there. Like doing dark magic inexperienced and then getting herself binded to Roman even though Daimen warned her that dark magic has a way of ruining people. Then not following every step the twins gave her because she didn't want to be made a fool even though the twins are clearly more experienced with dark magic than her.
And the last book, I wish it was Damien's destiny to save the immortals instead of Ever since he was the one who turned them and wished to atone for his sins. That would've made more sense than a new fledged and immature immortal doing it.
Also, if Ever was stuck in the Shadowland, Damien could've gotten a lot more development then he got. Just my opinions though!

can't exactly say if i like it now but when i was in 6th grade i loved this series, im sure if i read it now i would cringe LOL
