A novel about a man who really doesn’t want to do anything but run. He lives in a mountany area in the US in some campsite or maybe a trailorpark.

Themes: winning yourself, meaning of life, US culture?

I read it about 15 years ago cause as it was the book you had to read when applying to Uni, so I guess it was critically acclaimed.
