The most annoying person, the one person who made me want to spit on the ground and punch someone in the face, was Teresa.

She's such a bitch! She waltzes in there, tells Thomas she's his friend, that they share a special connection, then (view spoiler)[ stomps on his heart and breaks their trust in the Scorch! Then she leaves them in the WICKED compound, and THEN says, "No, you left us first!" (hide spoiler)] I mean where does this slinthead get off????

Every time I read her name, I wanted to kill her. Or I wanted Thomas to just be like "LEAVE US ALONE!" She was a traitor and if Minho doesn't trust her, then why should we?

Thomas. PERIOD.

Teresa or Dee-Dee, whatever you want to call her. In every book she betrayed them. First of all she had her memories while in the maze. AND LIED ABOUT IT. Second she was communicating with another guy, Aris, and Wicked telling them Thomas’s every move. So she was also a bitch.

Thomas was also annoying but he is the main character meaning he’s of course annoying.

Then there’s Aris. I might be the only one but I found Aris at first shy, but than he betrays Thomas and him and Teresa start...


Than there’s Gally. Oh don’t get me started when I found out he was alive I said it should have been him not Newt.

In all those are my most annoying characters.

TERESA. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HER! She betrayed them she's such a........UGHHHH.

I get why most people hate Teresa, and honestly, my 14 year old self was the same. But then I read The Kill Order and The Fever Code and then I started to understand why she did what she did. She did stamp on Thomas' heart but there was a damn good reason for that. Saving the entire world, if you please.

Literally everyone except Minho and Newt... wasn't a fan of the book series though. Everyone was annoying and I couldn't stand Thomas, Teresa, or Brenda.

Brenda, like bruh, as soon as she saw Thomas she was all touchy and weird with him.

I don't like Teresa at all. Least favorite 100%, what a selfish girl. Trading in her friends for something that didn't even work, besides the fact that her betraying her friends killed many people and captured many.

I mean, he’s selfish as fuck(?) He helps design the plan and is willing to let people die to carry it out BUT when things don’t work out the way he wishes they had and he and his friends are the ones risking their lives he’s completely against it?

I mean, I’m sorry but I would probably follow orders and risk my life if that meant humanity could be saved. But NO, he’s sick of playing the games whose roots come back to him and despises Teresa because she follows along.

And everyone suddenly hates Teresa because she’s willing to let WICKED treat them like lab rats so they can save humanity — AND because she does that she’s a traitor?

I mean Thomas really is just narcissistic as shit. Not to mention he never forgave Teresa for doing what she had to do to SAVE HIS LIFE.

I mean, dude, be grateful. You would’ve died it it weren’t for her and just because your sissy ass can’t handle FEELING (not being, but FEELING) betrayed you suddenly despise her?

In my opinion, Rat-man (Janson) is the MOST ANNOYING. Which makes sense cuz he's the bad guy, but there are so many bad guys that I love. But a the most annoying "good" person in the book would be Teresa or Brenda. Brenda was clingy and would get irritated when Thomas made it clear that he liked Teresa. And Teresa betrayed them/Thomas SO MANY TIMES and expected Thomas to still like her. I was kind of sad when she died but she didn't need to do everything that she did. But I do love Kaya Scodelario (Actress who plays Teresa).

I don’t know why some of y’all are saying “Thomas” I personally love Thomas. But the person that really gets on my nerves is Teresa she is just so petty and needy and the way she just snitched on my guys Newt, Thomas and Minho. Like okay I get that we wanted to find a cure but that doesn’t mean that she can just turn on everyone and pretty much almost kill them to get it. I just hate her so much

Personally I think Teresa and Gally are the most annoying but it's been a couple years since I've read the books so dont remember much.

wow this is 7 years old ago, but i really wanted to comment on it. since i havent read all the book yet, i dont know the full story behind it. but i watched all the movies already. there's a hugeeee difference between them. as i scroll through all the comments here, i concluded teresa may indeed be annoying in the book. however, from what i saw in the movie, she's actually reasonable and quite likable? i mean, she's just trying to find the cure, and she did. and my answer to this question is thomas. idk why he's so annoying in the movie. but i gotta say, this series is actually kinda weird. it left me with many question. why the hell must author make teresa a shitty person in the book. good to know they make teresa kinder in the movie and thomas still having feelings for her

The Creators are annoying lol but without them there wouldn't be a premise for the book....

OMG I could not stand Thomas, which is why I could not move on in this series. How could I read the rest of the books when I absolutely hated the main character? He said the dumbest stuff and he was such a cry baby even though they tried to portray him as strong and clever. WORST. MALE. LEAD. CHARACTER. EVER!

I believe that Treasa was very annoying. She was very selfish and needy.

I don't know. In The Maze Runner I liked Teresa but in The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure she was really annoying.

There seems to be a trend here of either Thomas or Teresa haters. I would say the most annoying character in the book was Teresa but only because she was the only one I disliked. But even still I wouldn't call her annoying because she served a purpose to story progression and messing with Thomas. IDK this is a tough question. Really anyone that was there just be there is who I think would be the most annoying.

Do they actually have to be in the Maze Runner or do we have to know exactly who they are? Because I say The Creators are the most annoying people. If that isn't accepted, I say Ben or Gally.
