Nicole (innocent_sweetiepie) | 52 comments I read a book a few years back, it was a romance novel....I think it was a historical one. I can't remember how it starts but I know that in the middle of the book the man or woman leaves the other or sends the other away to a country house. Later on the man visits her to check on her before they continue on as a usual marriage of convenience. She makes him sleep in the other bedroom while there. He continues to stay on awhile and then finds out she is pregnant after she faints. The only other detail about the book I can remember is that the man actually designed the garden of the house for her.

Please always include genre and plot details in your header, as per the Group Rules. Your query is more likely to be spotted by the people who can help you find it.

Also, please no ALL CAPS. It looks like shouting.

Could you explain the whole bump thing to me please??? I don't get it...is it something to make people see it again or something and how often is it done and do I do it or does an admin do it?

Sure.

Bumping gets your query back to the front of the line, so people see the new comment and read the thread. You would do it, not a moderator. It gets new members reading your thread, plus old members who have never seen it.

We ask that people not bump more often than every 30 days, because the group is so large. You could bump every 3 months if you want, or every 4-5 months. Basically, wait until at least 30 days from the last post in the thread, before you bump.

Your bump could simply be a comment: "Bump."

Please only bump every 30 days. Your message #6 was a bump - on Oct. 20 - so your next bump should have been no earlier than Nov. 20.

Now it's Oct. 31 so your next bump shouldn't be any sooner than Nov. 30 or Dec. 1.
