Those are some pins she's got" and the Jack saying that it's Laurel and del nearly choking on his beer.

Oh god am late again. Hope there's someone to discuss with me. I was not well over the weekend, so couldn't read. Anyway, here are my thoughts on the first book

Prologue to Chapter 4

(view spoiler)[Loved the friendship between the four. Writing is so lovely that despite it being a reread I got caught into it. I simply love the butterfly moment.

Am loving the concept of the four friends becoming businesswomen together and running one so successfully. It is really the best thing as far as a job goes - do something you love and with those you love!

Ahh Clumsy Carter in Chap 2 is so adorable! I always laugh at this part where he smacks his head. Their first meeting is just too funny and makes me feel really good.

Oh and I love this part in the coffee shop, where he tells her that he used to teach at Yale.. Love this dialogue " Well yes people do teach at Yale. Its highly recommended, given the students!" Lol.. Go Carter!!

I hate Mac's mom and the way she keeps making Mac feel so low everytime. I feel like giving her a tight slap. But I enjoyed the scene afterward where Carter gets Mac out of her pity party and that kiss.. Wow that was so beautiful!

The fourth Chapter is just too cute for words. Love the idea of a sexy breakfast story. Reminds me of the days, when we friends used to exchange some similar ones. Lol.. And I loved it when Lauren says to Emma "You smell romance in a traffic jam".. Lol I love Emma.. she is just too cute and it doesn't help as I believe I am quite like that at heart! (hide spoiler)]

Chap 14 (view spoiler)["I can't give up on her" Carter said simply. I've been waiting for her most of my life." .. Can I just say Awww.. I just love this part although my heart wants to kill Linda, every time she comes in! Lol (hide spoiler)]

Chap 10-13 (view spoiler)[Such a lot of work goes into a wedding. Being from India, I am not really familiar with a lot of Christian weddings and always assumed that it was easy peasy as compared to those back home, which is full of drama! Really smooth operation by the girls!

And Carter is just too good. Loved the way he handled the whole situation with the CBBM and SBP (hide spoiler)]

CHap 15-16 (view spoiler)[That meeting with the ex was just too awkward. I don't blame Mac for running away but I really felt sorry for Carter! Poor guy (hide spoiler)]

Finally finished the book and as always loved it. I just love Carter and Mac :) They are a couple that bring a smile to your face.

Chap 11-14(view spoiler)[That scene where she dreams about her little romantic dream is just so beautiful. Loved the way he takes her against the door!

It is interesting how the other couples are coming together without even being aware of it. I agree with you Stephanie that scene at the Cinco de Mayo is just too cute, especially where Del notices Lauren and Mal and Parker have that crazy moment. Makes me want to read their stories NOW! Chap 15 to the end (view spoiler)[I loved the romantic date that Jack organised for Emma at the Waldorf. It was just too lovely for words. Also loved the bracelet that he so thoughtfully bought for her earlier.

Hated it when Emma felt bad at Jack's place after making him dinner and brightening up the place. I really felt sorry for Emma and am not surprised that she needed this time and space away from Jack to regain her self!

I loved the ending..how Jack after listening to Parker proposes to Emma in the garden, at moonlight and with dancing. It is such a beautiful way to propose. (hide spoiler)]

This is definitely one of my most favourite couples!! Loved the book and totally enjoyed reading it again.

Am enjoying the initial chemistry between Lauren and Del. Its too frustrated and yet too funny. I don't blame Del for being confused with Laurel, despite the fact that he has also started noticing her as a woman!

On a completely different note, all that talk about cakes and cookies is making me hungry, despite just having my dinner! Lol.. I really love baking, although I just don't have the patience for it.. One day in the future, maybe I shall just bake a cake that is perfect! Until then, I am going to enjoy this vicariously! Lol (hide spoiler)]

Also that Greek event was just too funny. I loved how Del got a little jealous on seeing Laurel dance. And the holding of the shoes as hostage, well despite being peeved on Laurel's behalf, I still loved it. What a sneaky thing to do!

That scene where Parker meets Mal at the garage and he asks her out for a date.. That was really funny and sweet. I can't wait to read more about them!

Finally I had total fun when Laurel and Del make their pact to date for 30 days and then see what happens. Laurel's entry back home that night and how Parker caught her and that whole scene was so cute again.

Also loved how Carter responded to walking on the treadmill. Man that guy is seriously adorable!

And the betting that came at the end.. Awesome. every time I read it, i have this big smile on my face...it is such a crazy way to go about it! Love it! (hide spoiler)]

The discussion on whether it was a gift or token was hilarious!

Chapters 4 - 6 (view spoiler)[It was funny that Del took Laurel's shoes hostage, you know I never know what the big deal is about shoes, I get that they look nice but i'm not gonna go out and buy a lot of expensive ones i pretty much just live in thongs (I live in Australia and that's what we call flip flops) or sandals.
I loved the scene where Parker went to get her car and Malcolm was saying that he would love to take her for a ride on his bike and she was so fluster, that's a first for Parker nothing normally makes her like that so it was good to see that happen. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Like everyone else has said so far, I love the lifelong friendship between the girls - and how they're making such a successful go at their wedding venue.

Carter and Mac's first encounter was just too funny!! I love that there is at least a little bit of history between them and can't wait to watch it grow into something. (hide spoiler)]

Awww, I love Carter. What a guy to stand in and be completely out-estrogened at his sister's wedding consultation and then to recognize Mac needing some fresh air and taking her on the breeze, even though he had other things he should be doing. And then that kiss. I agree with Mac "WOW"

(view spoiler)[ The friendship between the women just still astounds me - they are just so lucky to have each other's backs and to not hold onto the hurt feelings when something goes down. They could have all made Mac grovel for their forgiveness but once they knew for sure where all the spitefulness was coming from, they could understand and accept it for what it was.

Carter's dinner making date - very swoon worthy - and I had to laugh when Mac found Bob's list. Loved the steam between them and glad that Carter didn't write her off as a crazy woman after she ran off abruptly.

(view spoiler)[The wedding that could have easily gone down in history as the one with the attendants from hell!! The altercation between the CBBM and Carter - poor Carter but kudos to the crew for not letting it all interfere with the wedding festivities!!!

And then again, Mac's mom and another piece of drama. That woman exhausts me!!! Hope that Mac can finally stop enabling her!!! (hide spoiler)]

I absolutely loved this book - I love that both Carter and Mac both had issues of their own to work through and that some of them they could get through on individually but others they took on as a team!! I loved that he never pushed her to admit to feelings that she wasn't ready to admit to herself. I already have book 2 on loan from the library so will be continuing on with Emma and Jack's story! When Parker found out that Jack invited Mal to go away on holiday to the beach house with them that didn't maker her happy at all, I like that he affects her and throws her of balance. Also when Parker found Emma's dress and she tried it on for the first time was special, I love moments like that in these books. (hide spoiler)]

I really like Emmaline...she has such a romantic heart!

So far, I really like the characters. Loved the story about the girls playing Wedding Day and how they came to live in Parker's house after her parents died and how they set up the business and each have their own section of the house/land to live in.

I love Carter. I like a bumbling nerdy type sometimes. I am sure Mac will do things to screw up their budding relationship but being this is a NR book, I have no doubt we are in for a HEA! (hide spoiler)]

Could be fun to help couples achieve their dream of the perfect wedding. I love how the girls are so good with their clientele, too.
