Ben Barnes is good looking, and he definatly has the hair to play Dimitri, but I don't think he has the right build. Ian Somerhalder has a better build than Ben Barnes but again, not exactly the perfect Dimitri. I think the model on the cover of Shadow Kiss is what i pictured Dimitri as, maybe with longer hair though. But he has that rough, dark, and handsome thing going on :]
umm I think Ian Somerhalder is slighly off for Dimitri okay maybe way off lol I did picture that guy as Dimitri on SK as soon as I seen it, I was like yeh hes hot because he does have that hot dark side to him I agree, but Ben Barnes is gonna have to do, well for me anyway...he's tall so thats something and his hair oh that hair is so Dimitri lol but I wanna Russian dude so badly lol I wanna hear the accent thats why lol so I hopw they do good on that part and have a Russian God to play the part....

Ian Somerhalder would be prefect for dimitri. Yeah he's a little creepy on the Vampire diaries but thats because he comes on strong and thats who his character is. Damon is the type of person who is out there and hides nothing. While, dimka is more reserved and keeps to himself. I pictured Dimka to be slim but not skinny and very well built.
Yes, Ian Somerhalder is good looking, really good looking :] but if he were to be any character in VA I could see him as Adrian. I think he could play the character well making all the inappropriate comments to Rose, lol. And putting a face on Dimitri is really funny. We all have this set image of him in our minds and we all want him to be perfect. If there was ever a movie, casting Dimitri would be really hard.

I think this guy is close to it. As he looks dangerous, a killer body but he has the ability to look caring, loving etc like when he's looking at Rose. And he has a killer smile that Rose loves ;)

Heh. He's not the dimitri I see in my mind but it's too hard to find the right guy. But Taylor Kitsch is extremely close to it ;)
jackson rathboune is and always was dimitri in my mind,i don't know but i always imagined him like that.jackson with long brown hair and cowboy hat=dimitri.that's just my opinion though.

It would be hard to find the perfect Dimitri. He needs to be tall, well built, incredibly sexy, and lets not forget his slight Russian accent. So yeah, the closest I agree on is Ben Barnes, but he needs WAY more muscle to be Dimitri. He can have an A for the hair haha.
So i found this new guy who i think makes a very good and very sexy dimitri. Craig Horner. With longer hair. He could pull it off.

I think the only thing wrong with putting Jackson as Dimitri is that he's already been in a vampire flick. Don't get me wrong he is definately hot. But it seems tacky to have someone in two teen vampire movies. Dimitri needs to be original.
