I have no idea, but I'd be interested to know which book it is... sounds like a good read!

having just read the topic, it sounds like the right one from Nick's description above... have added it to my to-read list. Nothing is too disturbing for me (I have a good stomach lol) so have added it to my to-read list. Thanks!
It's not so much the gore that bugs me, it's more the idea of kids being hurt/killed that I find disturbing. It's the same thing that stops me from reading Unwind.

A story about a high school that keeps establishing more and more rules and students keep disappearing. The narrator, a boy, keeps trying to convince his dad that it is happening. Finally, he convinces his dad and they move.
