Karen (xkamx) | 101 comments Grumpy Boss Next Door An Enemies to Lovers Romance by Elsa Greene * Grumpy Boss Next Door by Elsa Greene, a new-to-me author.

There's no description on GoodReads (as of this writing), but I was sucked in by the cute description at the retailer, which I found only matches the story in the broadest of terms.

The end of the description says, "Grumpy Boss Next Door [BTW, the "boss" isn't grumpy at all] is a second chance [yes] office romance [not really] stuffed full of hilarious banter [uh...no, not hilarious at all; not really what I'd call "banter"] and steamy [not really] scenes. No cheating, no cliffy, [true!] and a very [not "very"] satisfying [it was okay] happily ever [well, at least for now; there's no epilogue letting us know things lasted] !"

PamG (lynguy1) | 1147 comments I finished The Starless Crown The Starless Crown (Moon Fall, #1) by James Rollins by James Rollins.
This is a change for Rollins although he did write fantasy early in his career. It's an epic fantasy. hat brings excitement, danger, and suspense to an adventurous journey that includes some unusual allies and some common enemies. With this first book in the Moon Fall series, he introduces the four main characters and does a fantastic job of building a world that is unique.

PamG (lynguy1) | 1147 comments I can now post my review of Vital Lies Vital Lies by Daniel Pyne by Daniel Pyne. This spy thriller is the second book in the Sentro spy thriller series. This book has a clever plot with enough twists to keep a reader guessing. A memorable opening scene immediately pulls any reader into the story. One thing that detracted from the flow of the novel was the continual jumping around in time and points of view (POV) during the first half or so of the story. While POVs continued to change later, it flowed better for me.
