I do that, too. In fact, I spent the last few weeks rereading A.J. Harmon's First Class series in between other reads. Before that, I ran through rereads of Mari Carr's Wild Irish and Wilder Irish (to date) series in between others. All three are favorites that I pick up again and again (as if I don't have a mountain of other things to read!).

I remember certain scenes from books or I see a title that I remember enjoying and I wind up "wasting" valuable "new-to-me" reading time rereading. Though, I can't really say it's wasting time as I revisit characters and stories that moved me when I first read them. It's like visiting old friends. I always know I'll like what I (re)read and I'm never disappointed in the (re)visit.

Sometimes I just like the comfort the good and familiar brings.
