Definitely a brief summary of the tribes and areas and then descriptions of each place in the thread itself. Images and links allowdd but not required.
I was just thinking, do we want a capital city?
Umm yea I think that would be a good idea.
Okay. . . .How should we work it? Also, I put your healer charrie as Tribe of Courage since that's the name we're using for the comined ToC and ToV. Is that alright?
Capital city sounds good but I'm not sure how it'd work. There's already quite a lot of location folders planned anyway.
Do you think it could somehow be combined with the castle? Like we could have it within the castle walls then?
That sounds interesting :)
Also, what kind of terrain are the tribes in? Like are some near a coast, in mountains, in a forest? Just wondering, because when I make my two tribes i want my pictures to be consistent :)

Er, no clue. At least a good portion has to be plains just because the City is pretty flat and some is farmland, but beyond that, it does not matter.
Oh ok. I was thinking mountainous for the tribe of Courage, and there'd be plenty of harsh conditions. Is that okay?
Yeah. So maybe they could be trying to invade becausebthey want more hospitable lands?
Sure - like they'd want more farmland down the base of the mountain.
For the Intelligence tribe, I was thinking their territory is part plains part forest. They'll have only a little bit of the forest though (and there might be some item or important landmark out of their territory), and they might be invading so they can have that part of land with the item/landmark in it?
Or maybe some other thing, I don't know.

Yea thats fine!
Yea thats fine!
Do you think this is good for a summary of The Citadel?
At the heart of the Citadel is the Castle, which is made in a gothic style. The Castle is the source of all magic. The Castle has four wings, one for each cardinal direction.
The north wing contains all of the personal and leisure chambers of the royals. Ornate tapestries hang down on the walls, and across the stone floor is a burgundy-colored carpet. Guards are stationed only at every entrance to the wing, but not withing the wing itself. Music may often be heard through here. Only royals and their guests are allowed in.
The east wing contains the personal chambers of more important officials and the guest chambers. The throne room is also contained in this wing. The decor is not as elegant as in the north wing. The tapestries are older or of lower quality. The furniture is not as plush. Instead of having guard stationed at the entrance, guards traverse the corridors.
The south wing contains the servants' quarters and the kitchens. This wing is sparsely decorated and warmer than the rest. Nobles scarcely enter. There is also a servants' entrance.
The east wing of the castle contains the dungeons, armory, and fortifications. Nobles and diplomats enter through this door in an attempt to intimidate them. This is also where the drawbridge to cross the moat is located, so it is the most likely to be attacked.
A portcullis blocks the drawbridge to the castle off. Beyond the portcullis is the Capital City, which is surrounded by large stone walls, containing only one gate for entry and exit.
The city's buildings are made almost entirely out of wood, making them catch fire easily. Shops are typically located on the ground level while residences are on the floor above. The larger roads in the city are cobbled, but alleyways tend to be made of dirt.
Twice a year are festivals, in which numerous wares are sold to people. Much money and frivolities are enjoyed. There are also monthly markets, when artisans and merchants may sell their goods to the people.
Please ask feel free to ask questions and comment in the Questions thread.

Is this good for the summary of the Borderlands?
The Borderlands are the lands over which the King and the nomadic tribes are fighting. The Borderlands contain numerous peasant villages and plains. Some of these villages have been razed and looted by both sides, and good medical supplies are not readily available. The people here often die in the battles and starve because their crops have been razed. The survivors are often downtrodden and wary of everyone. The people here often embrace the nomads, whom they see as liberation from these conditions.

Okay sounds good!
By razed do you mean raided?
By razed do you mean raided?
raze means to demolish, tear down to the ground, destroy
Ah okay that makes sense. I'm trying to broaden my vocabulary, and you can tell why.
It's fine. I just know the word because of a book
Aurora, Doctor, what are your thoughts on the two summaries?
Okay, thanks. So I can post them then?
Oh just one thing - how is the castle the source of magic? Like does the actual building generate the magic, is there an artifact inside it that generates the magic etc.? Just wondering; it's probably not important to be in the summary.
I hadn't figured out that bit yet, actually. But the impenetrable Wall around the City, cutting it off from the Castle, is why there in no magic in The City of Fear roleplay.
That's something we should figure out, isn't it?
I have no clue what I want to do with why the magic is attached to the Castle. . . .I just know for a fact that it's gone because of the Wall when the City is made.
So is the magic kinda like radiation? It can travel through walls and things but is stopped by thick concrete? Maybe a certain artifact was taken from someone (or found by the first royals) and it's hidden within the castle?
Help! I don't know what else to do for the Borderlands!
Also, when you get a chance, Kye and Arwin.

Dedicated, not decimated. And please include the bit about the questions. Other than that, brill Post the Faith one please!
For the PV, could you add something about the taxes mentioned in the references, please? Thanks!

On a different note, location ideas for the Borderlands? I literally have one more, so ideas needed!
Also, Doctor, you, Julia, and I need to figure out what to do in the Insane Asylum.
Is this summary okay?
The Tribe of Courage:
The people of this tribe are hardy and tough, valuing strength, bravery and the ability to take revenge on those who've wronged them. Arguments are encouraged to be resolved by sparring, so friendly and unfriendly fights are very common. Those who die in battle are honoured the most, in both a memorial and a large yearly celebration. The mountain ranges are their territory, and though they are at home among the wild creatures and harsh conditions, it is difficult for them to produce many different products. As a result, there is less variety of goods - such as clothes and food - in this tribe compared to the others.

I don't have any ideas for the Borderlands... Maybe something water-based? Like a swamp or a lake? *shrugs*
Is this okay for Tribe of Intelligence?:
Creativity, wisdom and the thirst for knowledge are the main attributes this tribe values. They fight with thought out strategies and tactics rather than brute strength. They are a very innovative people, and generally more technologically advanced than the other tribes. However because of this, they tend to be arrogant and lazy - constantly finding better ways to make their lives easier. Their territory is mostly plains and farmland, but they do control a very small part of the forest in which they collect plants and study nature.

Okay
Okay

So do you have any guidelines for the folder creation? Do we do an overall summary of the tribe or anything?
