Can you describe the girl's powers and how she used them? How did she discover her powers? (Spoilers are okay - just give us a clear warning before revealing a spoiler.)
Do her parents/family also have magical powers?
How old is the girl?

The front cover is what I remember most, the girl was a flat silhouette completely coloured white and was either running or riding a skateboard or scooter. The picture might have also included the outline of her fairy/pixie friend. Besides that picture and the title and author, the cover was a solid colour. For some reason I remember the word "clearwater" which may have been part of the author's name or the title of one of the books, but I can't say for sure this is true. I think the author was male.
I don't remember much of the plot but I think it was about a young girl who discovered she was magical and had to attend a school to learn about her magic? Set in our world I think, and the school was hidden or in some other reality. Like in the cover, I think she made a fairy or pixie friend who may have been the reason she learned about the school. Overall I think it was a fun and light-hearted read, perhaps with a quest-like plot, or the girl had to help solve some mystery...?
