I just finished And Then She Fellwhich was perfect light reading before I start working on the stack of library books--four of which are due back on Thursday. Gotta fit them in around painting the guest room--am making the guest help!
I'm reading several books right now, as usual, but my primary read is
(Poison by Bridget Zinn) for Task 15.5. It's a YA fairy tale. I'm halfway through and enjoying it pretty well, but it's really bittersweet because the book was published posthumously. It's the author's only published book; she died too young ;(
I finished "Your Republic IS Calling". Still reading "The Unhandsome Prince". Will probably finish it tonight.
I'm reading They Do It With Mirrors and The Dead-Tossed Waves. Really enjoying the Forest of Hands and Teeth books.
I finally finished The Once and Future King for #15.9 and ready to start The Art of Fielding for #15.8
Finishing off Real Murders(25.8 book 2) then will likely get started on The Silver Linings Playbook(15.6)
Finished First Grave on the Right (10.9). Currently reading:
- library: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
- owned: Cutting for Stone, Treasure Island and The Partner
Anticipate finishing Cutting for Stone and Treasure Island this weekend. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has to be done by 4/17, so it will be the next big focus.
Next to start: The Historian (25.1 - 1), Answer as a Man (15.10), and Breathless (10.1).
Almost halfway through Geek Girl(5.5) and of the 29 other books I have left to read for the challenge (not counting the 50 point task) I am really not sure which one to start next!
Currently reading: - library: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Legend of Mickey Tussler.
- owned: Treasure Island, The Historian, Answer as a Man, and The Partner
I finished Eleanor & Park. This is a beautifully written YA book. I highly recommend this book. I know these characters will be in my head for awhile. The author also lists a fabulous playlist on her website for this book!!
Working on How to Ruin Your Boyfriend's Reputation(25.1 book 1) and Mr. Popper's Penguins(50.1 book 3)
Finished the above books and currently reading Girl Parts(25.1), Before I Fall(20.8) and Pushing the Limits(20.6)
Finished: Cutting for Stone, Treasure Island, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and The Legend of Mickey Tussler. Currently reading:
- library: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
- owned: The Historian
Next to start: The Partner (30.2 first book), Answer as a Man (15.10), and Breathless (10.1).
I also have 6 library books now in that will be due 5/4.
Finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - another of the 6 library books.Decided that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows's format for ebook was not conducive to easy reading and that over 500 pages was more acceptable in book form than reading on my computer so discontinued this book. I will check it out as a real book today, I hope (provided it is available).
Currently reading:
owned: The Historian, A Song Flung Up To Heaven
library: Whittington, Brideshead Revisited: The sacred & profane memories of Captain Charles Ryder
Finished: Whittington and Charlotte's WebWill finish this weekend: The Historian (70 pages) and A Song Flung Up To Heaven (159 pages)
Reading:
Owned - Ghost Riders
Library - Black Orchid Blues, Brideshead Revisited: The sacred & profane memories of Captain Charles Ryder

Good because I started another book and haven't gotten back to it. I think I'll read more of it tonight
