I started The War of the Worlds on my Kindle this morning for 20.5 and hope to start Bless the Bride to finish off 15.3 later today.
Currently reading Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World (5.3), Night World, No. 3: Huntress, Black Dawn, Witchlight (10.4), The Surgeon (25.8), Halo (30.6), and 1984 (50.1). I am trying to finish a few of these at least...we will see.

I am about to begin
I finished reading Songs Of The Humpback Whale last night and it was awful. Today I've started reading All We Know of Heaven by Jacquelyn Mitchard.
I am just starting In Fire Forged by David Weber or at least set in Weber's world of Honor Harrington. I am scrounging up books to read that I won't be using in the Spring challenge.
i'm the same Donna Jo! and the books I requested for the spring challenge are starting to trickle in at the library and I soo want to start some of them!! I know I have one that is 500+ pages though, so I might start it and apply the partially read pre-challenge rule

I've got them lined up on the shelf, but I may need to nail boards across so I don't pick one up and "accidently" start reading. Luckily, my friend Claudia just gave me the next three books in Angela Thirkell's series so I'm good until Monday anyway.
I'm working on The War of the Worlds and A Dilly of a Death hoping to finish up 2 or 3 more tasks. If only my husband and kids would let me read 24/7!
just realized that the audiobook i'm listening to right now isn't going to last until the end of the month, so had to scramble and find one that is 500+ pages in print that I can use for a task...lol! But I succeeded. So i'm currently listening to
and when I finish that up, i'm going to start The Blade Itself which works for the action/adventure task (a 15 pointer IIRC)
My friend Claudia loaned me some of her Angela Thirkell books to ease me through the end of the month. So I am part way through Trooper To The Southern Cross and am starting my 500+ page book The Colony of Unrequited Dreams on Wednesday to read half way.
this is the worst time of the challenge...don't really have time to start anything new that is a good length and conflicted...lol!
Dee, I keep telling myself that this is the time to do some housework--but I always manage to talk myself out of it. And I need to get my taxes done since I'll be gone the first three weeks of April. And I have some very neglected knitting projects. (But wait, I found a Mercedes Lackey that I want to re-read...)
housework...what's that...lol! I actually need to finish painting my kitchen for when my parents come next month - since I still haven't finished it from a year ago when they were here last...in my defense, I have to do some tiling first though
I'm hoping to finish The War of the Worlds and Chosen tomorrow or early Wed. then start on a 500+ one.
Finishing my last book for Winter SRC - Red Poppies.Plan to start for Spring SRC (as soon as I finish my last Winter SRC book): The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, Les Miserables and The Swan Thieves - all three BIG BOOKS as well as borrowed from library.
I finished "Daughter of Smoke and Bone and starting a book called "She Said Yes" which is about one of the students that got shot at Columbine.
I've got The Book of Fate going in paperback, Frankenstein on the Kindle and listening to Prey on my iPod.
Reading Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea right now, but am only 100pgs from the end so I'll probably finish this weekend. I hope.Nonfic I'm reading
and enjoying that. Little at a time on that one.Next up is The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes for another group's group read, I think
is up for then too, and I need to get
in here somewhere!
I have "shelved" The Godfather until I run out books and tasks that interest me for the Spring-Fire Challenge.I'm currently reading The Reversal by * Michael Connelly
I just finished Flat-Out Love and am reading The Catcher in the Rye for the first time, both for 30.5.
Finished The Reversal and started Murder at The Washington Tribune to complete Task 30.2 to get myself on the Readerboard.
I am currently reading:13 Little Blue Envelopes (15.4), Misty and the Single Dad (30.2), Dark Lover (30.3), The Summoning (30.4)
Reading A Morbid Taste for Bones, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and The Swan Thieves.Listening to Peony in Love.
I finally finished my first task...I think this is the longest its ever taken me...lol! i'm listening to The Tiger's Wife
I finished 11/22/63 by Stephen King this afternoon and it was brilliant! Now I've started reading Four to Score by Janet Evanovich.
I'm reading The Tiger's Wife, Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour, and The Hunger Games, a re-read before the movie.
I finished The Book of Fate and Prey and started Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Celebrity in Death.
I just finished The Catcher in the Rye to get on the readerboard (finally!) and will be starting Pandemonium for 20.4.
Currently Reading...Misty and the Single Dad (30.2), Frankenstein (30.2), Dark Lover (30.3), and The Summoning (30.4).
I'm reading (or re-reading) some classics for a mini-class. I just finishedThe Grapes of Wrath, and will be going on to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn next. I appreciate the classics much more than I did in high school.I'm also reading a short story book where the main characters are musicians, Nocturnes: Five Stories of Music and Nightfall by Kazuo Ishiguro.
The Woman in White (this one will take a while), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and I'm listening to 1776
