I need to whittle down my "currently reading" list a bit this weekend before starting something new...which is killing me because Cleo arrived in the mail today and I really want to start it! Seven books going at once is a bit much though.

I did finish Travels with Charley (which was excellent) and started the audiobook of Roots: The Saga of an American Family: 30th Anniversary Edition, which is very good thus far. However, I am only a little over 3 hours into it and have 48 more hours to go!

Finished Dead in the Family. A delightful read! Even though it is book #10 of a series, I found that I was able to follow the story and enjoy it without having read any of the other books.

Still reading The Alhambra Decree and Memoirs of a Geisha. I own both so, although I am reading them slowly, they get pushed to the back of the pile while I try to finish the many library books that are coming due.

Started Mrs. Dalloway, which has no chapters! Expect to finish it this holiday weekend. Also plan to read Choke and Pirate Latitudes over this long weekend.

If I accomplish all of that reading in the next three days, I will have completed two additional tasks! I seem to be doing one book of two book tasks right now.
