Just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time & The Hunger Games. I am currently reading I Am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced, Henry VIII, Jane Eyre & Tales of a Female Nomad (which I'm not excited about... I'm an anthropology major and I've heard this woman is as well... and is a joke).

I've read Magic Kitten 08. A Glittering Gallop & Double Trouble #4 - Sue Bentley and now re-reading Toast - Nigel Slater
Just finished White Cat and am still working on His Majesty's Dragon and The Girls from Ames: A Story of Women and Friendship.
Finished I Am Number Four. Next to read: The Mosaic Crimes, At First Sight, and The Alhambra Decree.
I have now finished 10th Anniversary - James Patterson. I am now reading The Trophy Taker - Lee Weeks.
Taking a break from Trophy Taker, The (as it's a bit much on my brain after reading a Crime/Thriller). So I've picked up The Boy Who Taught the Beekeeper to Read
Finished The Boy Who Taught the Beekeeper to Read - Susan Hill. Now going to start Bad Guys - Linwood Barclay.
Read 4 books while I was on vacation - will have to pick up something new tomorrow - not sure what yet.
I am reading Once Upon a Rose and Like A Charm. I plan to start The Alhambra Decree and Memoirs of a Geisha.
I'm working on Never Knowing (Goodreads giveaway before it's official release) and Southern Comfort.
I finished listening to the audiobook of Great Expectations by Charles Dickens last night (in the wee hours). I hope to finish Travels With Charley: In Search of America by John Steinbeck tonight. I need to whittle down my "currently reading" list a bit this weekend before starting something new...which is killing me because Cleo arrived in the mail today and I really want to start it! Seven books going at once is a bit much though.
Just finished the great Blood Atonement - Dan Waddell. I am now about to start Shadow -Michael Morpurgo
Finished the delightful Shadow - Michael Morpurgo. Now I am about to start Dread Pirate Fleur and the Ruby Heart - Sara Starbuck.
I'm reading A Game of Thrones but finding it slow going. I'll be adding something a bit "lighter" today.
Finished Once Upon a Rose and Like a Charm. Found both to be delightful!Starting The Thirteenth Tale (task 20.1), continuing Memoirs of a Geisha (task 20.7) and still planning on The Alhambra Decree (second book for task 30.3).
I did finish Travels with Charley (which was excellent) and started the audiobook of Roots: The Saga of an American Family: 30th Anniversary Edition, which is very good thus far. However, I am only a little over 3 hours into it and have 48 more hours to go!

Ho..."Jen, u gave me an idea. So I've ordered a copy from my library as I have the book and feel audio would be better lol x
Since my last update...I finished Unbelievable and Entwined. I am currently reading Little Women (30.4-3), The Host (20.8), Night World, No. 2: Dark Angel; The Chosen; Soulmate (30.1b), and Wicked (25.3a). I thought of starting another but figured I should finish some of the ones I have going.
Finished the great Dread Pirate Fleur and the Ruby Heart - Sara Starbuck. Now I am reading Doctor Who: The War Machines - Ian Stuart Black.
I got tired of reading nonfiction, so I started Blindness by Jose Saramago last night for task #30.8
Highly recommend The Thirteenth Tale. Finished it today and found it hard to put down to do my real-life work!Still have The Alhambra Decree (30.3) to start and still reading (albeit slowly) Memoirs of a Geisha (20.7).
Getting ready to start Mrs. Dalloway (first book of 30.1) and Dead in the Family (15.10).
almost done with The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific for the 5 point funny book; also working on Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenence; Brava Valentine (the travelling 30 point challenge); Criss Cross (10 point Ghost); Entwined (10 been a year already) and should finished up Cellist of Sarajevo tonight (eurozone)
I finished Blindness, started and finished 44 Scotland Street, now I think I will throw a bit of scifi into the mix and read The Silver Metal Lover.
Just finished Drums of Autumn yesterday (loved it!) and moved back to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values, though I'm still not very interested in it. Also picked up Fearless Fourteen.
I will be listening to Anything Goes - John Barrowman, A Certain Age - Lynne Truss, A Suitable Boy: BBC Radio 4 Full-cast Dramatisation - Vikram Seth and Boy A - Jonathan Trigell
I have finished listening to Anything Goes - John Barrowman, A Certain Age - Lynne Truss, A Suitable Boy: BBC Radio 4 Full-cast Dramatisation - Vikram Seth.
Should finish A Game of Thrones tonight. I'm still working on The Lotus Eaters, I might get to finish it over the weekend.
Finished Dead in the Family. A delightful read! Even though it is book #10 of a series, I found that I was able to follow the story and enjoy it without having read any of the other books.Still reading The Alhambra Decree and Memoirs of a Geisha. I own both so, although I am reading them slowly, they get pushed to the back of the pile while I try to finish the many library books that are coming due.
Started Mrs. Dalloway, which has no chapters! Expect to finish it this holiday weekend. Also plan to read Choke and Pirate Latitudes over this long weekend.
If I accomplish all of that reading in the next three days, I will have completed two additional tasks! I seem to be doing one book of two book tasks right now.
Sue T wrote: "Should finish A Game of Thrones tonight. I'm still working on The Lotus Eaters, I might get to finish it over the weekend."I love Game of Thrones. I read it for the second time a month ago.
I finished "Second Summer of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and started One Good Dog.
Choke and Pirate Latitudes are completed. Still working on Mrs. Dalloway, The Alhambra Decree and Memoirs of a Geisha.
finished up Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Group Read); Chasin' Eight (10.10) and Entwined (10.7) last nightlistening to Succubus Shadows (GR Award winner); Patton's Panthers: The African-American 761st Tank Battalion In World War II (my task) and Polio: An American Story (BJ Roses task)
What did you think of Entwined Dee. Personally not one of my favorites. I just finished it not too long ago.
The Perfect DeceitAn intriguing and fascinating book on how countries vie against each other to be top dog on the world stage. Spies, double agents, love triangles -- it’s all in a day’s work for super spy Alexey! In today’s interconnected world, this book gives an interesting perspective on how much competition goes on behind the scenes with ambitions and stakes running high. Hearts are broken and for some power is gained.
Illuminating book on the espionage sphere. Lots of mind games involved. Great book with high drama. Makes for a perfect summer read!
Peter - you are spamming this thread - your book isn't one that is being read for the challenge and you already started another thread on it
I'm still reading The Lotus Eaters - good read, but heavy subject matter. I also started The Silver Ship and the Sea.
