Charlston Goch (list_addict) | 24 comments This is my book for week 19: A book by an author with more than one book on your TBR. I don’t like to jam my already out-of-control TBR on GRs with too many books and so I only ever have the next in series actually on the list. My wishes in regards to Penny Reid novels is to read all the Winston Brothers series and all the Knitting in the City series (coz who doesn’t love knitting?) and so I think this qualifies. With the millions of books on this Group, I’m always surprised when I have to add one. I figure everyone has already read what I’m reading. The fact I have had to add this emphasises my irrational hesitation with saying I’m reading Romance (don’t skin me alive, hear me out!) I’m newish to Romance. I deemed it wasn’t for me. I thought I was a ‘serious’ reader. I’ve long since realised the errors of my thoughts but am still a little stuck in its echoes. Do you ever feel strange putting a book of your currently reading that features a buxom lady and a scandalous rake alongside your James Joyce?

Johanne *the biblionaut* | 1668 comments I know exactly what you mean! I also enjoy romance, along with many other genres, and I also feel hesitant to register them. I say we just do it!
I have read this series (except the last one published) and I really enjoy the character-descriptions and family dynamics.
