Thanks for the update Roz.
Heading over to the reporting thread. ☺

Nice job Amanda!
Going to rearrange some things. See if we can declare one set finished.

Go team!

Go team!"
Looking on the bright side!

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
number of pages: 226
pub date: 5/18/2004
first published: 7/31.2003
series:
if audio, add length: 6 hrs 3 minutes
Audio release date: 9/8/2014
fits numbers: 3,4,5, 6,7,
Points 10
I probably won't be able to finish Paris, 7 A.M. unfortunately, but "curious" fits for #7 in the round 2. I'll keep trying to finish it though.

Go team!"
I just had to replace a flat myself. Curse potholes!

Wonderful!
Don't forget to post it in the "RECOUNTING SUCCESS" thread.
What is your third publication date? pub date: 5/18/2004

That was the "Published May 18th 2004 by Vintage" date. I read the Kindle version and it was on the main page of the book.

Gotcha.

You're right Kristie. I read the Kindle version so the only numbers that will apply will be 3, 4,5,7.
I'm still listening to the audio version of Paris, 7 A.M. that would qualify for 2,6,7,9 and I had started the Kindle verion of New Boy that would be good for 5,7,8. I'm almost done with "Paris" and New Boy is very short.
Actually I reread the rules concerning Kindle versions:
" If you have an audio or Kindle version, use the page count from the first hardcover edition listed."
So I've amended the number of pages from 240 (the kindle version) to 226 (hardcover version) so the #6 remains and the book can stay where it is in Round 2.
Sorry about the confusion Almeta. : )

Enjoy the rest of your books everyone"
Thank you Vicki. You gave a lot for the team.

Time to go to sleep …...

I can help out with that. I have about a half hour left in listening to Paris, 7 A.M..
In Round 3 you can move New Boy into the #8 slot if you can't finish your book in time Kristie. Then take Paris, 7 A.M. off of Round 4 and move it in to replace New Boy for # 7 in Round 3.
Then Round 3 is complete.
In any case I'll report when I'm done with "Paris".

I moved it to round three and it is the last showing to complete that set.
However I have read a book that can cover that number. DON'T FRET!☺
ETA: STILL HAVE IT COVERED!

ROZ! THAT'S ROUND FOUR COMPLETED.

Sorry to have to do this, but I have to run off for the rest of the weekend. I will make the Team's scores first priority on Monday.
Pretty sure the spreadsheet is correct.
We have completed Four Sets and a few more books.

5:30 ☊☊ One Virgin Too Many #11 302 pages
6:45 ☊ The Three-Body Problem 416 pages, #1, set in 1967 13H 26M, 1, 4, 5, 6, 8
4:45 ☊☊ Wisdom of Sally Red Shoes 1st pub May 3 2018, audio Pub Jul 29, 2019
341p, 9H 33M (3,5,7,8,9)
Saturday
2:45 ☊☊ The Busy Body 2012, Donald E.Westlake, 5H 30M

Now I'm going to look at all the books everyone read and probably add some to my tbr.

Always feels great to get a bunch of books read in a week, even if they hadn't been on my TBR prior to the toppler.

COUNT! 175 Ah, Ah, Ah.
No I mean 155 Ah, Ah, Ah.
No I mean 160 Ah, Ah, Ah.
No no 130 Ah, Ah, Ah 130.
Wait I mean 20 Ah, Ah, Ah.
No I mean 640 Ah, Ah, Ah.
YES, YES 640 Ah, Ah, Ah.
640 POINTS

Aaaaahhh!
Thank you everyone. Such a good team. I didn't have to worry at all about getting another book out of anyone. Everybody just kept reading away. Not all potential books were read but we did a great job.

I agree, yet as Roz said, after reading everyone's messages, I will likely add more.

The Fourth Monkey

Least fave was A Wrinkle in Time. Though I think it was awesome to have sci fi for children and that it was written in the sixties.

As for the rest, I have to say this team has good taste!
I read these and gave them high marks.
The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle 5 stars
The Fourth Monkey 5 stars
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time 4 stars

My least favorite was One Fifth Avenue.

My favorite, I did not really finish in time.
Where the Crawdads Sing was surprisingly good.
The kind of character driven book I avoid☻
Seems as if, "that which I resist....persist!"
