Try others too. Especially Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy. It is science fiction and one hell of a wacky book.:)

1. try Marley and Me if you like dogs Sarah...it was the first book that brought tears to my eyes and I didn't even have a dog 😭
2. We children from Zoo station - true story about doing drugs at young age
3. To kill a mockingbird - very good classic, not so emotional, but you should read it nevertheless
4. The Diving Pool: Three Novellas - this is just very messed up, but I loved it
TO kill a a Mockingbird is an awesome book.

I saw you like the genre crime so have you read Stillhouse Lake? It's a thriller so I'm not sure if you'll like it but it has a really interesting premise!
