I read this book in about 2013 I think. I can't remember the entire plot, but I remember this man walking on this trail because he felt the need to. Then he approached a house with a large machine in front of it. When he went inside, he found a monster.... later in the book he was in a corn maze with corn-like monsters in the field around him. He was with other people at this point and took shelter in a chapel in the middle of the field. There was also something to do with a dead animal in the middle of a desert-like area near a gas station. I know it sounds insane but I need to know the title of this book!

Yes, it is horror. I read it as an ebook. I tried looking it up through my account for kindle, but I had a different account back then.
