Contrived, Invented, Disingenuous

Extreme caution should be exercised when assessing the veracity of Blow's "memoir." I've done extreme due diligence and listened to and read many interviews by Blow pushing his book, and reviews by others. He has begun now in my opinion backpedaling bigtime on, especially, the two, and I emphasize only two, "incidents" of "sexual abuse" he alleges against his cousin "Chester" and against this uncle. He's always been very general and vague, but now is glaringly admitting the Chester "incident" was, well, nothing much to it.

I encourage others to read my one star review on Amazon. Is it popular? Decidedly not! But I've done due diligence, and this book is built on two supposed incidents that are more than merely shaky. I offer details regarding each in my review there. Please read the thread following my main review for additional comments.

Not only is Blow's book atrociously written and "stylistically" histrionic and pretentious, but these two allegations of "abuse" are glaringly suspect. Please read my review and come to your own conclusions. Blow "needed" sexual abuse in his life in my opinion to support his "memoir," so he came up with it. What "happened" in these two "incidents" is even by Blow's own words NOT sexual abuse, are not even abuse. His own telling of them make them ludicrous. For shame, riding the stories of children who have truly experienced abuse in order to push his book.
