Scheduling Free Book Offer on Amazon

I'm trying to schedule a Free book promotion on amazon to start on Oct. 31, but when I try to enter it through KDP, the calendar of dates that my promotion can start runs only through Oct. 13. The second half of October is not available as a start date. Has anyone else encountered this? Anybody know why Amazon won't let me schedule the free book offer a month in advance?

Books in KDP Select have a 90 time frame unless you check the box to automatically renew that agreement. If you are trying to run a free promotion after your select participation expires, it won't work.
