GUYS I need some help!!! So it's been my long time desire to start a reading/writing club with my friends, and it's finally happening!! I got a whole four members(hey, i started out with one, so this is getting somewhere at least😂). Do any of you guys have any advice/tips on how to get these things kick-started?? Because we've tried to meet before, but we kind of just end up talking the whole time, whether it's about books or just catching up😂 And I'm kind of the one who's been organizing all these things, so I feel like I needa take initiative and actually have a plan, you know?? So if any of you have any suggestions, I would LOVE to hear!😁

Yeah, can you tell me what you have already?
What discussions, books, challenges, folders, (if any of those) Is it a meet up group (in real life)? If so, do you do create events? Do you have a theme for the polls you do (If any polls)? What are the rules? Do you have group photos relating to the group? Etcetera, just explain about the group and I can give you as many suggestions as you like ^^!

YES! Sorry, I shoulda given a little more detail😅 So we are going to meet in person, and I have virtually no plans😂 It's probably not going to be a super structured thing and we're all okay with that. Our goal is just to expand our reading, discuss whatever books we read, and as for writing, we just want to get feedback and constructive criticism on our work. We haven't had any official meetings yet, so this'll be our first. We basically are starting at rock bottom ahahah😂 I have a few writing books that have a bunch of prompts and writing tips that we can use.

Yeah, that sounds fun, I think you can just add maybe some discussions where you can share the writing/what you're reading, talk about writing/reading/meeting dates, also, a chat would be good to have. You probably don't need an introduction, bc it sounds like you already know each other.

I've picked up a lot of random new things: I tried my hand in acrylic painting, watercolor painting(that was a lot of fun!), letter writing(not new necessarily, but I'm doing much more often than i had before), ukulele, and I think that's it.
