Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments I don't remember if I checked in about my book or not and I'm too lazy to look back in the post...I read Bad Romeo (Starcrossed, #1) by Leisa Rayven and it was a winner for me with 4 1/2 stars! Even better that I could listen to it through my Hoopla audio ...thanks for the pick Renee! You know me too well ;-)

I've read a few and it's definitely a "me" thing. I was really hopeful with MT, because I knew it wasn't like her other really dark books. Also, I think if I liked the dialogue more, it would have been better all around. I need Ela to rub off on me.

Ela, no need to comment. I already know how that sounded. 😂

I had planned on it but I'm not in any real rush...Tony completely threw me off my schedule, lol ;-/ I'm a few behind so I'm aiming for November...some other friends are saying it's written kinda like TJR's Daisy Jones, which I totally loved, so I'm kinda curious to see how KA does with this one...are you going to read it?

Sorry you didn't like it more. Kudos for trying something outside your comfort zone. While I definitely liked Torin, his brother stole the show for me!!!

Lisa, your shelves are full of books that I loved and some that I know I will. That's how I know it's just me and my f'd up brain. Either that or my brain isn't f'd up enough! 😜

Michele, I loved After I Do! I found it so relatable and although I’m not much of a crier, TJR really ran my heart through all the emotions, I found myself shedding tears while reading this book. Thank you for yet another fantastic pick!

Layne | 146 comments Better late then never, right? 😜 I finally finished my October PFM even though it’s pretty much the middle of November. Oh well, at least I can say I’m not a quitter! My Oxford Year was incredible. Easily over 5 ⭐️ It was beautiful from start to finish and I’m so glad I finally took the time to read it. Thanks for the awesome pick, Melinda!
