Funny story...few years ago in my other book group I was saying how much I loved Consequence series...so a few ladies BR'd it. They had no idea what they were getting into. Let's just say they no longer take rec's from me! 🤣

Ohhhh, I just lurrrrrrrve Anthony Rawlings to pieces. There will NEVER be another like him. I think most sane people absolutely hated him at the end of Book 1. But if you continue on, you just may change your mind!!!

oh dear, this is going to be like another Carnage debate? hahaha...I thought Ela loved Tony? My friend at work just read the series and she loved it....I think I'm going to have a busy October usually once I start a series I tend to want to finish...I am just starting Pagano family book 3

I finished my book - Royal
and I LOVED it!! 🥰 4.5****It's a 2nd chance romance AND flashbacks to when they were kids!! It was angsty but not with OTT stupid drama. I teared up but didn't ugly cry. It was swoony and paced perfectly. Yay!!!!!!

I finished last night! 4* I really enjoyed it BUT I was disappointed in the lack of details of the beatings and sex, especially at the beginning...at times I felt sorry for Claire, but at others I wanted to strangle her...same goes for Tony...he's actually quite brilliant in how he set it all up...I've already started book 2 :)

from me. I didn't feel a moment of angst or heartbreak - couldn't even squeeze a tear out of my cold, dead, dry eyes. I'm convinced, more than ever, that YA/NA drama llama tales aren't for me. Not to say that a really good one doesn't sneak in every now and then...this just wasn't the one for me.

Ok, book 2 finished! Even though Tony is still a slime ball, he seems to be trying to accommodate Claire...I think she's just as fucked up as Tony :) I don't know where the fuck all this is going, but loving all the plot twists and shenanigans! Starting book 3!
Oh, I think by Book 2 I was definitely in lurve with Tony - and thought him just misunderstood, LOL. It's an awesome series for sure. Glad you are enjoying it!!!
Judy!!! Book 3 is the best. I cried so much and was sick with anxiety. I went to bed and couldnt sleep because I just HAD to continue reading. I so remember getting back up and bawling like a baby on my couch in my silent house . I dont know why but books seem more intense in middle of night. (I did the same thing with
). Anyway, I think I loved this series so much because I adored Claire and felt every single thing with her. I hate her sister!! I cant remember exactly when I started to love Tony, but I know I did in book 3 for sure.
I just finished book 3! Totally loved it! I couldnt put it down...I didnt really think that Tony could redeem himself but in my eyes he totally did...in the end I loved him ❤ although I thought I was going to have to shoot him towards the very end 😂 as for Claire? Well again I had a love-hate feeling for her...I also hated her sister! Loved Phil! This was a great a series and now I'm reading Revealed to fill in the gaps...I've totally blown my schedule 😂

I finished my pick early in the month, but hesitated to mention it since I didn't care for it. Although I don't think it was very dark like some say, but I think I can safely say that even books that verge into darker territory, aren't my thing. Unfortunately, they just come across as weird and not in a good way. I've tried and failed. 😔
