Merging new colorized edition

Just to be sure, in case a graphic novel gets a newer colorized edition, they should be merged with the original work, correct?
Here's the book I'm refering to:
https://..."
Any new editions should be combined with the original work, rather than merged- merging means to delete- see https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/....
As shown on the combine page for any author-
GENERAL GUIDELINES
do combine:
Different publications of the same book.
Different formats of the book (hardcover, paperback, audio).
Editions/translations of the book in other languages. Even though many translations differ significantly, we've made the decision to combine them all, and have people note the differences in their reviews.
don't combine:
2-in-1 books or boxed sets that include the given book.
Cliff notes or other works about the given book.
Adaptations or graphic novelizations should not be combined with the original work they are based upon.
So, as long as you're sure that it's a new edition of the same book, yes, they should be combined. In this case, it looks like the 2 may be different- one collects #1-11, so be sure the content of the edition you're thinking of combining is the same.
If they are different editions/covers of the same work, they should be combined (not merged).
