Like Danielle said, I'm not really liking all of Miles chapters being set 6 years ago. I am curious about the whole Rachel thing but I feel like it could be summarized faster

I have more problem with Tate. She's losing control fast.

I do like how they're written and his past is interesting (I'm on chapter 11 now) I just wish I could get some of his present thoughts about everything that's going on currently

yeah. it's to explain the whole Rachel thing. I'm guessing once that comes out he'll probably switch to present (assuming we find out about his past before the end)

It's just after 8 chapters there's more relationship with Miles/Rachel than Miles/Tate.

On chapter 5, so far I like the author's style, I normally love alternating POVs, especially when they're so different. Miles sounds soooo young though, don't know if this will get tiring later on...
I love their first meeting, made me laugh. And I love Tate's relationship with her brother.

So many thoughts were going through my mind as to what happens afterwards and I have to say, what I guessed was going to happen isn't what fully what actually happened. but it was so crazy and so sad.

The whole Miles/Rachel storyline is interesting but I have to say I would have preferred more Miles/Tate with just a little Miles/Rachel background information. Hopefully the books picks up for you and you end up liking it!

(view spoiler)[I can't say I was happy with Tate and Miles relationship and HEA. They had issues and then suddenly their all fine and in love. I needed more Tate/Miles page time and not all the amount of time spend on Miles' past with Rachel. It was a hard past to read and I understand him in the beginning now wanting to fall in love again. I just didn't like the way T&M played out. (hide spoiler)]

At first I was like "oh great, insta-love, but then I remember that they had been doing this for months and you can tell that he was wearing down throughout the whole book, so I think it ended in a great way. I loved that they showed them having a healthy baby and everything. (hide spoiler)]

Danielle, I am sorry that you didn't like it! I know that CoHo isn't for everyone and some books are hit or miss for her, but I'm glad that you stuck around and shared your thoughts :)

I'm on chapter 18 now. I like the writing, love the scene when they're outside and it starts to rain. Not sure I like the past/present switching so much, it's distracting and keeps pulling me away from Tate's story.

Wow. I feel like the book really started after chapter 32. Could not put it down anymore and I literally devoured every word after that. So beautiful!

It's by far the best book by Colleen Hoover. It made me cry, it broke my heart and put it back together at the end. No teenage drama, good characters, did I mention the absolutely beautiful prose? I loved it! So much!

I didn't think I could ever like a CoHo book more than I loved Maybe Someday but wow this book. This book, man. It ruins you and then fixes you right back up. You'll be crying happy tears one page and bawling your eyes out in sadness on the next. I don't know how she does it, but this post of mine on Tumblr is perfect for this situation: here

Just finished and really liked it. I loved finally getting Miles' POV in the present, wish it would've happened sooner. I like the part where he (view spoiler)[ visits Rachel and they finally talk about what happened to them. I was also curious about her life after she left him 6 six years ago. It was good to see that she had moved on. (hide spoiler)] The ending was great, just what I wanted it to be.
Glad I read this one, I'll be checking out other CH books. I have Hopeless and Maybe Someday on my TBR list :)

I am on chapter 3, after Miles first flashback to Senior year in high school.
Even though it's alternative present and past, the book is so fluid and easy to follow.

I like that Tate is a go-getter and a hard worker.

That bothered me for a while too before I start thinking. Never a bright move on my part:

2. He hit it, then goes to work for 9 days and DOESN'T text you once, until he sees you and you are a few feet away (sorta out of sight out of mind)
3. He won't tell you a single thing about his past and you can't ask him about it. You can't even ask him his mama's name
4. He is casually screwing you behind his friend/your brother's back...but gets so jealous when another douche tries to get a piece of the action. Hey, you aren't his girl and there are no commitments here, so why doesn't he let you decide if you want to throw down with Dylan. At least Dylan is upfront about being a cheating jackass who commitment doesn't mean a damn. Truth be told, commitment doesn't mean squat to Miles right now either.
5. He can't even hold you for 2 secs though he just banged you with no condom.

I had the same questions about Tate during the first part of the book. Sometimes young girls can be naive and think that they can change a man but she wasn't that young and had some bad relationships already behind her.

I agree there was too much about Rachel, it did get annoying sometimes.
I would've preferred less Rachel+Miles love and more Tate+Miles love (not just the sex, but actual romance).
