Carmela is suffering from the trauma associated with the attack on the ship. Were you surprised that the author addressed this in the story?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I would have been shocked if Carmela wasn't traumatized by her experience. Almost getting shot, almost not making it off the boat and all the people dying all around her. She really needed therapy for sure.
