      It was hard for me to gauge as he didn’t elaborate about his issues with Trina. I was fine with him being fearful but not okay with him not sharing this with Carmela.
    
  
  
  
      I agree with Laura. As I was reading this passage I thought "Sawyer, you're such a dumbass to get yourself in the exact same situation again." He is scared and, with his history, I don't blame him. I know history isn't going to repeat itself, but Sawyer didn't.
    
      Some flashbacks with her would have been helpful, who chased who? That sort of thing. I’m curious about her and her family.
    
      I understood how he felt and why he was reluctant to have more than a friendship with Carmela. It did not want to lose another family.
