Urgh exactly! I don't know why she ended up with this Fallon douchebag - Eamon is so much better in every way

Everyone else seems to be part of the Fallon fanclub and honestly I don't see him as anything other than a villian!
Reasons why Eamon and Shea are meant to be:
From the start to the end, Eamon has been protecting Shea and getting her out of trouble. At first, he doesn't think too highly of Shea - but through so many missions and dangerous escapes, he begins to really trust and respect her.
Eamon is so much better as a love interest! He sees her as an equal and doesn't try to manipulate or stalk her. He knows she is a girl but he doesn't treat her any differently at all (or try to rape her/force her to sleep with him/start calling her "mine" days after they meet). And seriously Eamon freaked out when Shea nearly got herself killed during the Revenent battle. Eamon wants Shea to become a better person and improve and develop her skills. Whereas Fallon is only interested in Shea becoming "his" and he doesn't care about Shea's own pursuits or self development.
And Eamon and Shea just have such a good partnership together! During the rescue mission to retrieve Fallon, it was lovely to see them pairing up and working well together. Not to mention the fact that it was Eamon who managed to bring Shea to her senses when she was in danger of getting killed/arm broken by Caden. Eamon seemed shaken at the idea that Shea might get hurt or killed by Caden. There is seriously chemistry between the two.
Shea naturally seems to gravitate towards Eamon too whenever she feels threatened or in trouble. Whenever she is worried about something, she naturally heads towards him. She even gave a "strained smile" when she found out about Eamon's promotion (as compared to how fully happy she was when she found out about Buck's promotion). Seems to imply she was sad they had to be separated. It was pretty clear to me throughout the book that the two of them had a pretty strong bond.
Reasons why Fallon/Shea sucks:
Meanwhile, on the other hand Fallon is a manipulating stalker douchebag! I have no idea how anyone is able to see Fallon as anything except a villain/antihero. He literally starves villages and forces them to give up their hard earned food. He literally forces their people to become slaves and fight in the front lines. It's cruel and wicked. There is honestly plenty of available empty lands in the lowlands - Fallon could have easily settled his people in some unoccupied region of the lowlands. But nope he's got to go and enslave everyone for some holier than thou they-would-all-die-without-being-slaves reason.
When he sees Shea, he immediately considers her to be a part of his property despite the fact she makes it clear she wants to leave and has no such desire. He physically and verbally abuses her despite the fact that she saved his life numerous times. He treats her with no respect whatsoever and couldn't care less about her own desires and aspirations to be a pathfinder/scout. In fact, he prevents her from pursuing her passion in wayfinding and wears her down till she agrees to become his mistress!
Fallon even considers raping Shea for a while before deciding against it. But he does force Shea to sleep beside him many times. And he blackmails Shea by using her affections for Eamon and Buck to prevent her from leaving. He's literally a manipulating villain! He threatens to harm Eamon and Buck in order to trap Shea with him. Seriously, I have no idea how anyone could fall for Fallon.
Eamon and Shea are so much more adorable together! And yep I have no idea how old Eamon is supposed to be (don't really care actually). The chemistry is undeniable. I reread the description we get when we first see Eamon, and all that is mentioned is Eamon's "brown eyes". But honestly I don't care how old or ugly Eamon is supposed to be. He just has so much chemistry with Shea.
Does anyone else agree with me? Or am I alone in this
