Jini I do this a lot, actually. Mostly with a book I like to make sure it's still going to be worth my time and the ending isn't stupid. Today, I did it for the opposite reason. I decided that two chapters into the book I didn't like the protagonist so I skimmed the last chapter to find out whodunit just so I didn't have to read the rest of the book. Thankfully, the killer was someone already introduced so I didn't have to skim other chapters to figure out who it was.

Arminius I never do that. I guess because I read mostly history and just reading the end would make little sense.

Sam (ecowitch) I'm sorry to say this Jini but people who do that drives me nuts. My dad does it all the time. I just don't get it surely it's better to wait until the actual end, it must spoil the book completely.

Alfred Bates I used to read the last sentence of a book before I read it, I still do it but not as much now.
