My first book should be
. But I’ll be starting
since it’s a BR in another group I didn’t get to this month, then I’ll be trying to squeeze in
and hopefully stay on some type of schedule for October once I start contagion lol.
I need to read Sky in the Deep and The Girl the Sea Gave Back!

Anybody have an idea how we are going to organize the tag lines?
If someone knows how to make a spreadsheet we could go from there? Or I'm sure the mods will keep a running tally of where we are in the review thread.
I haven't really figured out a easy way to track that aside from keeping track of our current score as we need to pick not only the letters but which tagline they go to. I guess just add your letters to the tagline that needs help. But maybe we should focus more on finishing the third tagline since it's worth more points, honestly I don't know... If anyone has a plan feel free to share lol

It's a good audio. This is my second time listening, I'm excited to read the sequel!
This is going to be really interesting to track lol. I even scoped out some of the other teams SS and I honestly didn't find one that made the process simpler so I guess we wing it and just add letters where they are needed. I have started the month reading four books (also BR's) and will have a ton of letters to add and even some bonuses. Starting with Beauty Queens, Nightmares & Dreamscapes, Contagion & Girl the Sea Gave Back <---- Which I believe I can take the whole word The twice from.
Do we want to knock out letters or whole words? I have two books on my tbr that can knock out No and another that can knock out One
I would say knock out words over just letters when possible. We can fill in letters as we go based on what's needed.

One thing I wasn't clear on is if we are able to take words within a word. For example we are all reading Contagion... Can we take the "on" at the end or do we need to take the whole word. Like I saw someone ask about Bone Houses - You can take the word one from bone, but also the letter B. So I'm wondering if we can take part of a word only if we use the preceding letters? Does that make any sense? I was under the impression it was only the letters starting the title or author's name.
Ask on the page someone will answer for sure but I feel like we can use it.
Double checked the rules and it seems like you can take any combo of letters within a word as long as the two letters are together! I got excited for a minute too thinking I could use the "The" from my book twice but we can only take one word per book in case anyone else comes upon this lol"...taking blocks of letters from titles, as long as there are at least two letters together, and they are in the correct order, such as Rust & Stardust by T. Greenwood, could be used for 'trust', by using 'rust' and then claiming the T from the author's initial to complete 'Trust'."

I finished Contagion and I'm kind of confused too. Lol.
Don’t know if I'm right or this will help but I have contagion marked down for.....Letters E, B, ON and bonus for it being sci-fi.

I feel like if we treat this challenge similar to the “APRIL” Challenge and just keep an eye out for what we still need even if we get ahead in some areas we should be fine. Since there really isn’t any limitations on how many we can complete. If that makes sense.

I set it up as a series in case we like them and want to earn more "believe's" for our team. We just have to make sure we read each one within 14 days of each other. It sounds like October will be the last month we will able to have series threads. :(

What a bummer! I concede that there has been a bunch of series reads that people have ghosted and I was the only one reading - some I didn't even create, just joined randomly. But, you and I seemed to do pretty well, and I liked how the series threads gave us a little wiggle room to catch up to one another if one of us got behind. Oh well, I guess we will have to communicate and plan better if we read a series together in the future.
Heather, you can claim up to 5 letters per book. I've asked Maddie to claim a few more for Unravel Me, and I think you can also claim the A and N from the author's name in Like a Love Story, or the ST from Story, plus an A or N - whatever combo you think is best. Can you adjust?
