Read book 1 of Brian McClellan's Powder Mage series Promise of Blood and reviewed it - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3666210675.
For first time in my life, I’m reading 3 books concurrently! They are all very different so my mood seems to decide which book to pick up.
I read Mrs. Bridge by Evan S. Connell. It is a poignant portrayal of an upper middle class woman in the 1930s who has internalized patriarchal socialization and can't figure out why she is unhappy. It is subtle, sad, funny, and really well-written. I loved it.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm reading 11 vol right now and its fab so far.........Genius Doctor: Black Belly Miss Book #1
Little revelation: A Girl who traveled past centuries and is searching for Dark Emperor's Tomb ,unknown to the fact - The boy who's having a crush on her is basically Dark Emperor himself.
I read Lost Souls by Theresa Van Spankeren over the weekend. I really did enjoy it and recommend to anyone looking for a solid vampire book.
Finished The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives by Lola Shoneyin. Set in Nigeria. A sympathetic treatment of the desperate plight of illiterate women. A quick and easy read. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata, translated from the Japanese by Jinny Tapley Takemori. A delightful novella with an autistic Japanese heroine.

I'm now partway hrough
I've read most of his books of his life s a vet, so to read his story of before, during and after is intriguing.
So lately I've been doing a lot of online books from novice writers off of webnovel and wattpad. Has anyone gone through such a phase?
i am reading the outsider by stephen king and just finished a midsummer's night dream by shakespeare

I've been fighting this 'craving' to read the tricksters collection by Tamora Pierce but I'm giving in today
Read books 2 and 3 of the Powder Mage series by Brian McClellan - The Crimson Campaign - reviewed - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3666210862and
The Autumn Republic - reviewed - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3666211033
I am currently reading Locked down Bubbling up ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... ). It's basically an anthology of short stories and poems from some Irish writers. I thought it fitting to finish the year off by reading that sort of thing. Some of the stories so far are tear-jerkers (which I needed) or humorous, but the grammar is a bit wonky (like first drafty), so I might not review it. Other than that, I just finished Strands of Existence. My review of that is here: ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) This was definitely a creative, thoughtful epic fantasy with pretty darn good characterization.
despite my intensions of a lot of reading time, during the past two weeks I only actually managed to read two books. Never mind. Here's what I read anyhow, along with my book reviews. A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows (Outlander, #8.5)
by Diana Gabaldon
My rating: five out of five stars
This was an excellent story, and a fantastic addition to the series. I loved getting to hear what happened to Roger's Father.
~
Immortal Angel (Argeneau #31)
by Lynsay Sands
My rating: five out of five stars
This was another excellent addition to this series. Despite how many books are so far in this series, and the fact there are similarities in where the
plot is ultimately going, the author does an excellent job of keeping things fresh and exciting.
I started the Asperger’s Mysteries. Some have complained that the protagonist’s condition is “stereotyped”, but I find it very familiar when struggling to decode Normalspeak.
Finished up Knight of Light last night.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Starting on New Contact tonight.

I super excited to see ppl that read just as voraciously as I do :) I'm about to read wild magic by Tamora Pierce
