Just finished re-reading Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series through Iron and Magic. Books stood up quite well the second or third time through.

Sometimes I fancy a change from my usual romance work and I’ll read another genre. I have just finished two crime thrillers by James Patterson . Alex cross run and the other is called swimsuit .Both great and both with a fast pace .Riveting .

I finished The Red Collar: A Novel by Jean-Christophe Rufin. A poignant novella with a simple story line and few characters about the indelible scars of war on people and animals.

Finished What We Lose by Zinzi Clemmons.
With its unorthodox structure, it compellingly depicts a young woman's devastating sense of loss at the death of her mother. I thought it was excellent.
