What is the book about the girl in India who has an arranged marriage to a sickly man. He dies and she is stuck with her terrible in-laws, until her mother in law leaves her in a big city. She moves into a home with other women. She starts making flowers and eventually makes tapestry or something like that. Thanks!

I've read this book, and I think the title has the word "dove" in it, maybe "white dove".Edit: It was a library book, and I couldn't find it in their on-line catalog. So maybe I'm wrong about the title. The in-laws knew he was dying, but wanted him to marry for her money, to pay for medical treatment, I think.
