Ummm I want to read that but I haven't but I've read Blackout. Is Variant really violent like more than maze runner? Also she doesn't want me to watch the movie cause she says it's more gruesome than the book, but I can't read Maze Runner till I'm thirteen-fourteen.

I don't know about Variant. I don't think it's quite as bad as The Maze Runner but I really don't pay much attention. You'd be better off letting your parents preview it just in case.
