Just finished HP and Prisoner of Azkaban! Now I am desperately trying to catch up reading Outlander, The Gunslinger, The Eye of the World, and Moby Dick. I mayyyy have just done too many buddy reads for November...lol

I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, One Foot In The Gravy and I just bought Big Little Lies which is on sale for $2.99 on Amazon kindle.

Lol, Taryn! I think we all got a little overzealous with the buddy reads. I'm swamped until March! So many good ones.
Kristie, I need to look at ones past January....I am trying to take less on in that month for whatever reason, but then I'm gonna hit the BR hard afterwards if the contest is still going on.

@Taryn - I think I'm in your boat with you for buddy reads - my list keeps growing - just not many this month. Lots next month. Hopefully I can keep up. :D
@Jenn - hope you enjoy it! I had to read for RL bookclub and we are finally getting together this Fri to discuss - I'm looking forward to see what they all thought.
My week was very hectic and didn't get a ton of reading done like I wanted to. It was my daughter's birthday this last Sat. I now have two teenagers. Yikes. I'm hoping to get more done this week but with Thanksgiving this week, my son's wrestling tournaments are starting and my Uncle passed away so we're having a Memorial for him. I'm not sure how much I'll get done. I'm gonna need some alone time at some point with a good book, lol

So apparently the official rankings don't get pulled from our handy spreadsheet and I have to update the official spreadsheet to get our total in there. Sorry for my misunderstanding. I've updated it except that for some reason it won't take Melissa's BR points. I'll talk to the mods about it.
Our ranking is therefore a little low this week since not all of our points were in there.

ok - thanks :)

I'm planning to read The Husband's Secret in Dec and then What Alice Forgot in Jan. Hoping they are just as good.

I just checked it out. I am working on a book right now and have one more checked out that will be due first. I will start asap but will most likely be more than a week away.

Also, still reading

Starting the buddy read of

How's everyone else doing?

OK - will do.

Glad to hear it! It should be fun, since it is a buddy read. Plus, I'm looking forward to getting back to the story...well, actually, I think this one is the backstory, but that might be even better.

Christine, I picked up The Bell Jar at the library yesterday. I may not get to it until next month but I'm excited to read it.

Great! I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody...I am having two dinners because my family always has a seafood related Thanksgiving one day (yum, oysters!) and then a regular one the next.

@ Logan, whew, I'm glad I posted my books in the right place. Is there anything else you need from me? I also made a shelf for the challenge called tower-team-challenge.

Finished Outlander. Liked the writing a lot better than I thought I would, though I am not completely sold on the story yet. I think the first book of most series are for the author to get in the groove, so I am definitely going to continue on with the series. Especially since they are pretty fast reads and tons of pages ;)
I also realize it takes me about a half hour to updated my challenges after I've read a book. Might be a sign to stop joining them! Pshht yeah right.

I finished Outlander this month, and really liked the writing too. The characters didn't work for me though. Hope you like the other books in the series :D

I can completely get that. I started out hating Claire, but kind of liked her at the end. I mean, she has a lot of balls. I respect that lol And Jaimie, in some ways, reminds me of my ex....the red hair, the temper, the small moments of insight LOL But other than that, I dunno.
