I haven’t heard this song in forever! I don’t think I ever saw the video for it. I was good until the superworm. I can’t imagine putting one of those in my mouth, yuck! I feed those to my dragon and I am always scared they are going to bite me.

In a very very lazy fashion!! :-D

Listen to the latest musical interlude for a fun earworm to make up for the sneaky sloth behaviour ;-)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10156 comments Mod
it's OK, i need no extra earworm right now, having finally evicted the last one just before lunch (no, I'm not saying what it was as it'll be back in if I'm not vigilant!)

I also want to say that team Wrath have a splendid ladded constructed: level 7 already! ;-P

message 1606: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13729 comments Mod
We may not have the 7 rungs yet (we are team Sloth after all) but ours will be impressive, don't you worry ;-)

message 1607: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13729 comments Mod
And I'm curious about that earworm.... though I probably don't want to know. If it's something terrible, it'll just end up stuck in my head and I do not need that right now. I've only recently got rid of a really sucky one as well haha.

It's always the bad ones lately that stick.... If only they were good earworms at least! (Mine is, btw, the one I linked hehe.)

Hahahaha, yeaaah the video is a little iffy at times, as are the lyrics, but it's practically a classic in the meantime! But we used to know the dance! And whenever we went out and the song came up, we did the dance haha - terrible, but hilarious times!

message 1609: by Melissa (new)

Melissa | 247 comments I think I knew the dance too once upon a time. That song came out back when I was in college. Feels like ages ago...

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I'm sorry! I thought I'd have reading time but then my co-worker came to work. I will finish this book today though. Just not as quickly as I had hoped. This is why I like working at home. No one knows I'm reading.

On another note - you really do not have to wait for others to finish their books before you start yours.

Completion times are what count. Not starting times.

Just thought I'd reiterate that since you all seem to have a knack for waiting for the previous person to be done before picking up your books. No need! Though I know some of you are speedy readers and it won't make much of a difference for you :-)

I sometimes watch the German version, depending on who is on the jury. Usually only the auditions though unless there's a singer that absolutely fascinates me.

Melindam | 8534 comments I'm alternating between Men at Arms and my lovely Xmas anthology.... just to prevent me of getting too much Xmas cheer (or sneer). :D

message 1627: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I took the night off reading anyway but will start today. Hopefully won't take me too long but most likely tomorrow I'll be done with it unless it's amazing.

Yikes, I just realised that next Monday is the 2nd already. Deadline for finishing The Chestnut Man. I haven't even started the bloody thing yet o.O And I also need to read a book for my latest bingo shelf call *panic*

I'm almost done with Shades of Wicked though so I'll finish that tonight and put Two Can Keep a Secret on ice until I'm done with the others.

How is it the end of November already?!

message 1630: by Joy (new)

Joy | 281 comments I'm almost done with The Chestnut Man myself. Will probably finish it on the flight home for Thanksgiving. After that, I'm reading Two Can Keep a Secret and The Cuckoo's Calling which I'm taking with me for the holiday. We'll see how much progress I make.

message 1631: by Jammin Jenny (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 4185 comments Thanks for the reminder on reading times. I’ll start Anita Blake when I get home tomorrow. Going away for a couple of days on a mini vacation for my daughter’s birthday

message 1632: by Vian (new)

Vian (vianvamp) | 363 comments I started Harry Potter (ladder #6) last night so we should be good to go onto book 7 pretty quick once its my turn.

Blood And Gold and Two Can Keep a Secret are on deck to go next.

I also started the 3k Christmas monster... thats all I have to say about that.

Eldarwen | 13729 comments Mod
I'm loving that you're all enjoying that monster .... and are willing to read it!! Thanks again for that! :-)

And awesome on all those BOM books coming in! Lots of extra points for answering all those questions, so that's going to be a bit of a boost as well :-)

Hope Thanksgiving was/is good for everyone!

Mini vacation sounds fab, Jenny!

message 1634: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8534 comments Good news is that I think I'll be able to finish the Monster (as VV so fittingly called it) by Sunday... the bad... it might turn into a psychopath serial killer... but I'll make sure to post the completion post before getting arrested. :D

message 1635: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I signed up for Audible today just so I could get a head start on my book. It hasn't gotten me very far at all because I keep getting interrupted but it's a head start! Turns out the book is 781 pages, not the 701 that I originally thought.

Melindam | 8534 comments I just got the WEIRDEST BOOK RECOMMENDATION FROM GR.... EVER

"Because you are currently reading Once Upon a Christmas Wedding:

we recommend you to read

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury "

OMG!!

Are they trying to tell me to set Once Upon a Christmas Wedding by Scarlett Scott on fire???

Not that I'm not tempted to... but I got the kindle edition. :D

Hahaha, that would at least be a good reason as to why that would be a recommendation!!
