There's a little club of fellow-sufferers in the Bad Books Thread to help with her PBBT (post bad book trauma)... Apparently it helps ease the pain when you try to explain what you've read.

I started reading - 801 pgs and it has a ring on its cover, which can work for: jewellery, bling, diamond, glittery.

I started on the weekend - 1,092 pgs. There are stars on the cover which we could use. Not sure how. Didn't see anything on the top shelves for it. So maybe this will be a normal sin book?

Also have - 676 pgs. Could be used for woman, pearls, pretty, ascension, diamond.

Here's what I posted in the bad book thread.

A brief explanation.

(view spoiler)[Our hero of the piece is Ji Feiyu, a special agent who was part of the Galaxy Security Action Bureau until he wasn't. Ji is being chased and has found himself on X planet. Ji is soon captured and accused of murder. To prove his innocence Ji must now use his special skills to solve the murder of the Xin Ling Girl (brothel girl). Along the way are flashbacks, a big cow, a sidekick-Da Niu, a trip to the brothel, a tortoise, and a trip to the bookstore. While at the bookstore Ji fails to fix his fancy Ghost bracelet, but learns about the planet he is on. After a while, Ji remembers he's supposed to be solving a murder, and goes to do that. Who was the murderer? It was the tortoise, who then blows himself up. The explosion, spreads poison blood cockroaches, because why not, called Nanxun blood explosion.

After all that, they still are on the hunt for the murderer. Ji keeps on, because he's still kindof in custody. Because this story still isn't over, we get a the sexytimes monk, random detectives, an assassination attempt, and finally the reveal. Ji accuses the master of being behind all of it, they search his Harry Potter chamber, find evidence (skeletons) and take the master away.

With the murder solved, Ji takes off into the hills and finds himself at the casino. He's a winner. Rallying toward the end, we have a random lady, scorpions, snakes that are embarrassing, another monk, and sci fi exposition (Han and the Naxun Poisonous blood leaque). (hide spoiler)]

Don't just think cover and title or genre. We can be creative, so that opens up a loooot of possibilities!

The main character is racing down a stairwell, taking the stairs three at a time, in heels. Of course, it can all be explained away by the fact that she has a sudden burst of (vampiric) strength.

I can barely walk on heels let alone race down stairs three at a time! This author is really taking liberties 😂

Successful: Genghis is successful in his campaign to bring his conquered lands to heal. Some areas tried to resist/rebel and he crushed them with no mercy, thereby reclaiming his territory.

I finished His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass, but I wanted to make sure it's legal before posting.

The rules say books listed as a box set aren't allowed. This book isn't a set it's a three in one volume, but I just wanted to double check.

Hi Vianvamp. You need to list the 3 books separately according to the rules.

Apparently when you leave your phone at your apartment and run out of there without looking back, it later appears back in a teeny tiny inside pocket in your skirt (her skirt has a lot of pockets, especially for something that's supposedly fancy/classy).

There are so many more things I could tell you about this book but I'm not going to bore you with the confusion as I don't actually understand myself what is going on. Except for every guy who meets her instantly falling for her. She loves a guy after fifteen minutes in his presence. Wow. Fifteen more (maybe thirty) and he loves her, too - but, oh the drama, he cannot act on it because dire consequences, you know.

Btw, he's 3000 and she's 18 :-)))
