Aarati...I just finished One Good Earl Deserves a Lover I liked it better than the first in the series. Thanks for the pick! Will work on my next after I get through another challenge commitment.
Susan A wrote: "FranI finished Sweet and Sour by Astrid Amara which both you and KyBunnies picked. The book description didn't really appeal to me - -cheaters are no fun, but I..."
Hi SusanA!
I'm so glad you liked it! I love Astrid Amara too. Cheating is my number one dislike in a book, I must have totally missed that part of the description! I'm glad it didn't detract from the story for you, whew!
Susan A wrote: "For KristySusan, I just completed Blindsighted and loved it. It is exactly the kind of book I like best. I can't wait to read more by Karin Slaughter. Thank you so much for recommending it to me.
Now I need to decide which of your picks to read next. Hmmmmmm.
Ty! I'm currently reading Saving Grace and gah! it's so, so (sososososososo) good. So good. I'll let you know when I finish, but I'm pretty sure it'll be 5 stars.I'm also listening to Arhcangel's Legion. Raphael *swoon*
Mimi I finished
yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it all that much. I had trouble connecting with the characters. But thank you for the recommendation. I'm trying to decide what to read next from your list. I'm thinking maybe a Rock Chick book from Kristen Ashley.
Katherine, I finished
, a new book for me and I enjoyed it. Thank you for suggesting it.Though the story was a good and fast paced, I did not like the cliffhager at the end

Elke - I finished up I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas - i loved the slice of life you saw - there were def. a few spoilers for various series (end of Jane Jameson and the Half Moon Hollow series) - but i can't wait to finish listening/reading
Breann wrote: "I finished Saving Grace and it's definitely 5 stars and went on all my favorites shelves. I loved it! Thanks for the pick, Ty :)"HA! it's one of my all time favorites too!
I'm too scared to listen to series I've already started and love (like Archangel's Legion). Cuz what if the narrator sux?? But glad to hear it worked out for you. :)
Andrasun, finished my first PIFM read this month:
wow. just wow. it was the only 5 star I've given this year to a new-to-me author. Absolutely powerful.
~Leslie~ wrote: "Nandar wrote: "Hey ~Leslie~!So I finished Mind Game

Hi Sassafrass!I'm finally getting around to posting what I've read this month...I might be able to fit one more in before the end of the month, but I'm not sure. Anyway, here's what I've read so far:
Midnight Vengeance 11/9/14 - Nice to get back to the "classic" LMR...loved it!
Rule 11/12/14 - I wasn't sure about this one, but the audio was free at the library so I gave it a try, and I liked it well enough to add the next one to my M&G shelf. Thanks for the recommendation!
Gone Country 11/17/14 - This was probably one of my favorite of the Rough Riders series, and I'd waited way too long to get to it...thanks for the push!
Echoes of Scotland Street 11/18/14 - Love, love, LOVE this series, and the book I think may have been one of the best for me (but then I think that after every one...) The buddy read was fun, too...thanks!
Simple Need 11/22/14 - This was my least favorite of the picks I read, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it, it's just that I liked all the others better! ;-)
Thanks for all the great recommendations!
Hi Tara Jo! I forgot to tell you that I finished When It Rains a couple weeks ago. I wanted to slap our heroine a few times but there was a great message in the end and the tissues were definitely needed. Thanks for the rec!
MountainKat:I've gotten to a couple more books this month. That makes 5 finished this month so far.
--well, you know I loved this one since I read it with you and ~KarenH~! Samantha Young just sucks me in every time. Even when I'm skeptical, she just makes me love the story. And Echoes was no different. I was a little leery of the story at first because I didn't know this Shannon girl, but she quickly grew on me. I can't wait until the next story!
--I adored Rhett. He really got me right from the beginning. Shawn had to grow on me a bit, but I couldn't help but root for them. It was fun watching them stumble into love. This is yet another series that I've enjoyed right from the beginning. It's not a *5 STAR* series for me like On Dublin Street, but I enjoy it nonetheless.I'm going to start on
tonight, so I'll report back on that, but it doesn't look like I'll get to all the books this month. They are all definitely on my TBR now though. I think I'll try to get to the Shannon Stacey book before the 30th. We'll see.

~KarenH~: I really liked Gone Country too. Gavin was a surprise for me and really made the story. Glad you liked it.
I'm excited that you're liking your picks thus far. And I agree with you, every time I read a new book in the On Dublin Street series, I think it's my favorite. I can't wait for the next book!
Sassafrass wrote: "MountainKat:I've gotten to a couple more books this month. That makes 5 finished this month so far."
I'm so glad you have enjoyed your picks so far this month!
Zara--I'm guessing that I may not finish it before the end of the month, but I've started my third PIFM this month, The Long Way Home by Louise Penney, on audio. Thanks again for the picks.
Kristy wrote: "Susan A wrote: "For KristySusan, I just completed Blindsighted and loved it. It is exactly the kind of book I like best. I can't wait to read more by Karin Slaughter. ..."
Kristy -- I recommend the whole series. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Hi Fran, I'm not sure I ever came back with what I've read this month. So far I've finished two of my picks Punch-Drunk Love and Screwdrivered. I enjoyed them both!I plan to start Love Comes in Darkness this week if you still wanted to do a buddy read. It might be hard to coordinate the time with the holiday, but we could discuss it if you read it too.
I would love to get to several more, but I'm running out of month! Maybe I can squeeze in one or two of the shorter ones!
MountainKat wrote: "Hi Fran, I'm not sure I ever came back with what I've read this month. So far I've finished two of my picks Punch-Drunk Love and Screwdrivered. I enjoyed them both..."Hi Kat!
This works out great, because Love Comes in Darkness is shelved as F2L so I can read it for the tournament.
My boys are coming home from college today for the week so it may be hard to get much reading in before the end of the month, but I can try if you want to.
Let me know, I have a bunch of others I can read for F2L so if you can't fit it in no worries, but I would love to buddy read with you if you can :)
Elke- I also finished up blood games - i didn't see that I had reported it - maybe I did, but my brain is so fried rigth now - felt much more like the earlier books in the series which I liked - a lot less angsty for sure

Fran, that sounds perfect. I probably won't be starting until Friday evening at the earliest. I do want to finish before the end of the month, but I don't need it for any other challenges - I just always want to finish books before the end of the month so I can start the next month's books!
Hi Carla_Collette! Here are the picks I finished for the month. I think my favorite was On Dublin Street. Even though I read it over a week ago, I still find myself thinking about it. Thanks for picking it for me - I'm not an NA fan so I was actually avoiding the series. Now I need to the next ones!!! O_oBooks you are thankful for:

Christina I had so many great intentions this month to get to a number of your books...yeah didn't happen. :( BUT I really loved Magic Bites ★★★★½. So excited to have a new series to dive into. This was a fantastic book and the world building was excellent. :) Thank you for all the picks and I promise I'm going to try to continue reading.
Hi Grace, I finished Alpha & Omega and Cry Wolf and I really loved them. I'm glad I read the short story first instead of going straight into Cry Wolf it really laid the background of the story. I think I would have been a bit lost jumping in. Thank you for recommendation.

Aarati--I really enjoyed on Dublin Street and plan to work my way through the series...thanks for all the picks...I've added a few to my 'to read list' in the future!
Fran, I was super tired today so just about all I did once I got home at 12:30 was read - so I was able to finish Love Comes in Darkness. I enjoyed it, but I won't say more in case you were able to read it too.I don't think I'll be able to get to more of your picks this month, but several more have been added to my shelves!
Hi MountainKat!I finished my 6th and 7th pick over the holiday.
--this was very good: action-packed, hot sex, hotter man, good mystery (although I knew who it was, I didn't understand the full why's of it). I will definitely be reading more of this author's stuff.
--LOVED this! Liz and Drew were such a great couple. I've stepped away from the Kowalskis for a bit, but I'm definitely going with the next book. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next...with doom. :)I don't think I'll get to any more of the picks this month, but I'm definitely going to read
next month for meet & greet, and I'll likely get the other ones in other challenges too. Thanks for the great picks!
