HOLIDAY THEMES:
(1) “All Soul’s Day” or “Dia de los Muertos” (AKA “Day of the Dead”): {November 2}
Choose a book whose cover features something that reminds you of someone who has passed or whose theme features a cemetery, gravestones, a casket, a big arrangement of flowers, the word “Dead” or variations of being dead.
(2) Melbourne Cup: {First Tuesday of November}
In Australia this is the famous day for the Melbourne Cup. Pick a book whose cover features a horse, or a fancy outfit or hat (since the ladies typically dress up and wear fancy hats for the event).
(3) Remembrance Day/Veteran’s Day: {November 11} Choose a book with a main character that is a veteran or a book that is set during a war of any kind (real or fictional).
(4) International Men’s Day: {November 19}
Choose a book with a handsome man on it or which has a main character who is an ‘international man.’ (You may interpret that as you will!)
(5) Thanksgiving: {November 27th}
Pick a book whose cover or title features something for which you are very Thankful!
(6) Black Friday: {November 28th} one of the busiest shopping days in the year, or “Buy Nothing Day” an international day of protest against consumerism. Pick a book which features something you want to buy or which has a cover which is 60% black/grey. Or pick a book which features something you don’t need to buy because you have it already!

Zodiac Signs are Scorpio and Sagittarius.
